Blue nodded I think that's going to be the best to go right now, until I can accurately analyse this-" she stopped seeing the shadow and light vanish. She than changed her mind and turned back to Tomen " Coat the floor.." she said flattening her ears, she was unsure what they were dealing with, but she knew playing a game of hide and seek would not be optimal for the abilities many of them had.

Tomen folded his wings and lowered his head. After a moment of mumbling a thick dark shadow coated the entire floor, spiraling out from his paws util it was a thick sheet. " Hey You guys be careful this could get confusing, This barrier prevents entrance ito the shadow realm, and instead acts like a door to a mirror of this room, any type can slip through, just be careful as things may not be what they seem." He said lifting his head scanning the room.

Nina closed her eyes and she sighed. She had to be in danger but what was apollo doing? Was he looking for her? What if she never made it out? There was so many questions and wonders. She didn't know what to do.

Ainsleigh & Tatsu

"Blue, advance your team in a saw-tooth pattern and close the gap to the adversary. 46, 387 take the corners since you know what this floor boss better than we. Tats, you've got the middle point. Tomen, move up to Tatsu's left flank so you and Blue have a wedge for Nina to escape to if things get to dicey." She hated moving others to the front before herself but it really was for the best. With the smaller sylesties to either side of Tatsu, then she, Ember and Mirai would be able to get a binocular view of the enemy to either side of her mate.

Tatsu advanced to point as he was ordered. He was aware of the dangers and risks involved, but it was the risk he was accustom to taking. He seemed to sense Nina's nervousness by the way she was fidgeting enough in his shadow that he could make out the edge of her silhouette. He tried to comfort her at the risk of someone else hearing them. "Nina, focus on the job at hand and you'll increase your chances of going back home. Trust to your skills and let's slay this beast."

Nina was panicking. She didn't know what to do. She didn't know what to do. She wanted to escape from this. She looked around wildly and she decided to close her eyes. She tried to calm down.

Blue and Tomen were in position when the shadows started, but they all withered off until a newcomer entered the room, She looked much like the rest in her personality at least. she chirped at Tomen and he released the cloak on the floor the shadows receding to his paws.

Ainsleigh & Tatsu

There was no sign of the creature the others warned her about. So,looking up and noticing all of the other levels they had to have passed, and 6 identified herself as a guard, Ainsleigh had a thought. She decided to walk in front of the company near enough to converse. "I am 628," she said, then smirked impishly, "I've collected these recruits for the master. I lost a few comrades during the sortie and since 28 happens to be roaming the upper levels I recruits the others to help me bring them down for inspection."

Ainsleigh took a gamble. This was a really big place and the sylesties here were so beaten and disregarded that they only knew themselves as numbers. She was betting that they didn't know every number nor how many were apart of their army of slaves. Six was a guard without a muster or a logbook so this wasn't a checkpoint. It also meant she wasn't privileged to her master's information, nor was she watching any visuals for their entrance. Whatever she was guarding, was not as important enough to be a boss. It just needed someone that could scream or raise the alarm. Six was looking at how small most of them were; the extra light helped to reduce their shadows at distance. Granted, she looked at the size of Tatsu and had some doubts for a minute. Ainsleigh was mentally noting the location while Six pondered the validity of her story.

"Look, the dumb waiter over there is stuck and we got turned around. As for that big boy you worry about, you can bet swinging a stick at him won't do?" She drew close in a whisper and winked mischievously. "But show him a little tail and he'll follow you like a puppy too." She smiled, then giggled a little. "So ya gonna help a fella out? I'll come find you to have a go round with him later, the pickins' fer partners are pretty slim around here and we could use some new blood sister."

Tatsu didn't feel comfortable with Ainsleigh out front like this. More so, the way she was looking back at him so wolfishly. Was she trying to play the guard and use him for bait? Six was certainly mature and virile scented enough, but he'd never seen Ainsleigh use this tactic before. He acted a little nervous to confuse six about his age a little, that wouldn't be too hard the way Ainsleigh, err '628,' as she had called herself, was using him like a common pimp. He could see she was poised and close enough to inflict some minor wounds on the magical looking draeyl female; at least until they closed the gap for her. They would have to really move fast if this didn't play out well.
