I push open the door, subtly bringing Amie behind me. It wasn't as violent as a tavern, but no one knew what might be inside it. Hopefully, he would still be in here, as we spent quite a bit of time at the one book store.

I put a gold coin on the counter. "Can you give me change? For the book?"
You can hear the boy that brought you here stifle a laugh from behind you.
"Oh hey dad, I got a thing for you, gooodbyeee!"
He cheered before taking off into the distance away from the large palace. The figure in front of you dubbed 'dad' sighed deeply placing both of his hands on his face in defeat.
"Sorry for scaring you, would you like to come inside?"
He sighs rather in a rather hostile way and props himself up on his elbows. He glares at you and you get the feeling that he doesn't really love to be woken up, or maybe he was just a generally grumpy person.
"Bella's gone out to visit her brother, she won't be back for several shifts."
"I'm sorry, but I cannot accept that! Wait here while I get you your change!"
She yelps as she hastily disappears into a back room, leaving you alone in her store. You can hear her fiddling around with something in the back before it sounds like she drops something onto the ground causing whatever was inside it to scatter.
You start to run away from the white trees in the first direction that you turn to. You can hear the trees hissing and growling fade into the distance as you get further and further away. You glace back towards them to check if you're being followed and it doesn't appear that you are. You slow slightly as you feel that you're far enough away.
As you walk towards the crowd you find that most of the people seem to be crowded closely around a young man who appears to be confidently juggling swords on top of a few stacks creates. Behind him, several stalls selling different weapons seem to be getting quite a few customers.
