Rose Petal shifted around in the dungeon. She felt cramped. The dungeon was very nasty, and she was alone. She sighed wishing she could teleport.

The floor moved downward with great speed
Soon it hit ground, and dust filled the air. On this floor there was only one passage way. It was mostly dark, although a small light could be seen in it...

Tatsu & Ainsleigh
Tatsu instinctively stretched out his wings, as any flier would do. He dropped straight enough for his mate to leap against the wall and out to latch onto him so they two would not drop as fast. Ainsleigh felt the floor drop, so when she noted,she quickly leapt towards the wall and pushed off into open space. She grabbed Tatsu just above the knees and held on tight. But the brute male couldn't compensate for that much weight. He flapped as best he could but only reduced their fall by half at best. But they still came down softly. Despite himself, he couldn't help anyone else on the drop and hoped the others weren't that badly hurt.

Nina looked at the Sylvorpa. She was slightly confused by it's anger. Why was it so mad? She wondered. She got out her dagger just in case she had to fight.

Out of instinct rather than courage Ainsleigh took her charge of the party again. "Rose Petal, check on everyone here, friend or foe for their hurts. Ember, Mirai, see about helping Rose Petal getting the injured to the back and provide her a shadow large enough to work into." The she looked at her new allies. "Since this thing is planning to slay all of us, you may as well lend a hand since your lives have already been considered forfeit. 54, 306 and 349 stay back here with me and Tomen. Your abilities sound like they work better at a distance." Right away Tatsu picked up on Ainsleigh's cue and started with Nina. Nina, come stand in front of me. I have the biggest, widest shadow for you to meld into and surprise this critter if he rears his ugly mug 'round here." It might not have sounded like an order coming from him, but it was just that. Then he looked to Blue, "Unless ye got a better idea, I'm thinkin' maybe we form a skirmish line with 46 and 387 so we can spread our shadows across the hallway so Nina can fight freely in front o' everybody and not get in the line o' fire?" He offered.

Nina smiled happily. At least they were thinking of her. She hated this very much and she wasn't very good with fighting in the light because of her nature as a ryori. She prefered the dark much more when fighting. She slipped into the shadows. She smiled holding her dagger. She didn't know if it would help that much. She stayed in the shadows.

The team did as the were told, Ainsleigh was leader after all

For a second a shadow appeared in front of the light, it soon disappeared back into the darkness. Then another shadow appeared, but this time it was different.
A pair of glowing eyes appeared behind the light, they soon vanished along with the light

Nina saw through the shadows so she got ready to attack. She growled and looked at her friends. She wanted to help them so bad but she didn't want to do something horrible.
