The door opens to another tunnel. However, this tunnel's walls, ceiling, and floor was completely made of gold. Veins of diamond ran through the walls, shining with light. There were many scratches on the floor, as if this tunnel was a well traveled one. Nevertheless, the dragon walked on, assuming you'd follow.

Follow him and look around in awe

The mage left with his mechanical bird/phoenix thing, leaving you alone with the mochis, River, the Griffin, and the lupora.

He neighed urgently and nodded. The woman was far away now, and it seemed if you didn't go now you'd never catch up with her.

"Okay" i hopped onto his back gently

"Be careful, we're about to enter the trails. Keep calm, look straight forwards, and walk forwards. There will be shades that will try to trick you. We don't get humans here very often, so the trials basically are meant to keep out any intruders. The actual dragon complex lies beyond the trials." The tunnel slowly darkens and you feel you enter a cavern, even though you can't see anymore because it was so dark. Suddenly, you feel a cool feeling surround you, and the dragon doesn't seem to be by your side any more. It all seems like your were alone in the middle of a vast, dark, cold nowhere.

Uje took off running. But however fast he seemed to run, he couldn't seem to catch up. The woman was getting farther and farther away now.

River cantered over to you and nuzzled you before glaring in the retreating mage's direction. The griffin finally moved, clicking it's way to you. It had been frozen the entire time, either in horror or some other reason. It rubbed it's beak against your cheek. The lupora looked a bit sleepy and the mochis watched, occasionally making "veee~" and "yay~" sounds.
