Knuckles stood up with a content smile. "C'mon Rick," he said. He made his way down to the border of the island.


Tails looked at Rin. "So, what do you say?" There was sudden beeping. "Hold on a second--!" Tails said, tapping his watch a few times. "Scanners changed again," he touched two fingers to his ear. "Blue Jay, this is Flicker speaking. Blue Jay, do you copy?"


There was a buzzing noise, Sonic flicked his ear.

"You okay?" Rin asked.

"Nono," Hecate muttered, "Almost there you heavy pincushion."

"Blue Jay? Blue Jay?? Sonic?! Sonic, please respond!" Tails said loudly.

The voice came in scratchy at first, broken by static. "......Blu---ay??--Son--c?! Sonic, please respond!" He did respond... with another impulsive flick of his ear.

"Pick UP!... *sigh*... no response. And he has the Tornado," Tails said. "Im gonna try another frequency... hopefully he can hear this one,"

"He's probably busy," Rin said.

"Jeez, how heavy can a pincushion be?" Hecate sighed, setting Sonic down

"He should have a com in his ear... you're probably right though. I'm gonna try the Tornado, just in case," he pressed the record button. "Sonic, this is Tails. I just wanted to let you know that the scanners are picking up that thing again. Ok, Tails out," he pressed the stop button. "Now, where did you wanna go?"

"I think that the park sounds nice."

"Alright Fatman, I have the hedgehog outside." She said. The scanners beeped, and she slithered in, dropping him. "Why on earth would I wake him up?!" She shouted into the intercom
