Tatsu sprung the trap with some unforeseen circumstances. It would be alright though, Tats amd Blue Jay could handle themselves; she hoped Nina would as well.

She watched with amusement as the Sylvorpa alone charged the two of them full bore, while the skull capped kelparie simply watched on to see what would happen.
[ He glanced at Ainsleigh " Come'n lets handle these two, careful and watch your step." ]

"I think it maybe best to tell them that." Ainsleigh said as her deep red eyes quickly turned blue, then red again. She used a finisher starting out, turning the thin layer of water on the ground throughout the entire room and the waterfalls instantly to ice! Even the water coating their paws, the sylvorpa and the kelparie were just fully encased in ice. She really wasn't too worried, about the use of mana, it would recover in a little while, and it would scare the pee out of any less experienced opponents that were watching their progress. Once that was done, Ainsleigh set her foot down and the spring action raptor claws on her feet came down hard into place and shattered the thin layer of ice before her feet so she could purchase on hard ground. The sylvorpa's ice encased body continued sliding towards them helpless to stop what was coming next. As Ainsleigh simply stood in her ice free foot holds, tapped her tail on the deck like a club, took careful aim and struck the sylvorpan hokey puck directly at the middle of the kelparie. There was a shatter as the ice encasing the two of them collided and freed their bodies from the thin layer that temporarily helf them imprisoned. She simply watched with satisfaction as they both dropped to the ground aching from a little frostbite.

"The ice has already dried hard. Just step down hard on it so it will crack and let you take purchase. They aren't going to be much trouble without the water." That was for certain true, every drop of water in the space had been turned to ice, even sealing the egresses from which the water came and left the room. That would keep for a few minutes, while they advanced upon their quarry.

Tatsu

"Whoa, hey!" Tatsu exclaimed as the floor shifted and went around. It was a rather long snake of chain that wrapped about his middle, under his wings dragging him backwards, through the waterfall, from the middle of the room. It was a very cold shower he just got, followed by watching the boulder fall into place. He wasn't going to get out that way and the little resistance he was putting up was only going to make the chain tighter.

Now clear of the entrance he back flapped his wings once very hard to get a little lift so he could side somersault and face the direction the chain was coming from. As he landed he began advancing quickly toward the source of the chain to cause it to slack just a little, but it was enough to get his arm around the chain and loop it up about his left arm. He started a short run, taking up the slack of the chain as he went until he finally met his adversary. "Hello there. I see ye brought the chains but I forgot the whips and chaps. It's just as well, you aren't my kind. But if you need some gratification I can give ye a list of names of some stud luporas I know that might tickle yer fetish?" He said to her, hoping to get a rise out of the lupora female. He had never acquired the talent that his Earth buddies had at it though.

He looked around the room and noticed many of the flowers were poppies, he hoped they weren't enchanted or this would be a very short fight.

~How lazy could that kelparie mare be?~ Ainsleigh had to wonder. She hadn't bothered closing her position seeing as only the one sylvorpa pawn was moving. She figured Tomen would be okay with handling the sylvorpa. The little guy look so beaten down, they could probably hire him as a guide for just one handful of rations. "Perhaps you'd care to weigh in your own miserable carcass, faelora-pus, rather than bullying one little guy that doesn't have a hope in Hades." Ainsleigh challenged the mare. Even as she spoke the kelparie could see the water vapor crystallizing in the palms of Ainsleigh's hands. She wanted the kelparie to make the first move, at least way if she didn't there was a good chance that the floor controls that caused the rose to spin were under her charge.

Tatsu

Tatsu might not be a mathematician, but he understood that he massed over a ton and she might be 120lbs. soaking wet. Even if the chains offered her supernatural prowess and strength she would be hard pressed to lift his footing if he didn't will it, like entering into this room. She was pulling him in, so it was better for him to push into it rather than away. This was no different, but he wasn't interested in finding out if he was wrong.

"What's the matter mom, are you planning to ground me?" He asked with some gentle sarcasm. Then, in a very quick burst of action, he spread his wings and blasted the air that would push him towards the boulder, but rather than take off, he let himself launch back only about ten feet. The difference in their masses and Newton's Third Law irresistible forced the poor lupora female off her feet towards Tatsu, who still had the poor lasses chain wrapped around his foot, his arm and his middle. So he yanked them hard and body flipped her as he turned a full 180 to throw her against the wall. Still gripping her chains so she couldn't escape.
