Callen raised an eyebrow. "Uh, how am I being overdramatic? Royalty's always going after each others' necks for the throne."

" Thats beside the point. " her mother said.

" Im leaving. " Sera said, standing up.

"What's the point?" Callen asked.

"You two need to at least learn to tolerate each other." his father answered.

" Im not going to tolerate him. Hes annoying. " She said, standing by the door.

" Seraphina sit back down. " Her father said.

Sera irritatingly went back to her seat.

"I beg to differ, she's the annoying one. I spent like half an hour arguing with her before she decided to improve on her original plan and pretty much tossed me out a window as a testing dummy."

" Well, I would've gone out first if you didn't have to open your big mouth about everything! " She yelled. Then she picked up a glass cup and threw it at him.

"Wha-" Callen's father yelped, as Callen ducked and the glassshattered on the wall behind him. "Yeah this is kind of why I don't think we should marry." Callen grimaced. Luckiloy his years of practice dodging the antics of various people around the castle had paid off.

(pfft in the future: Callen to his kids: "Well, you want to know about our first meeting? Well, your mother threw me out a fifth-story window into a pool of water, then threw a glass at my head.")

She tried throwing another one but her father stopped her. " Stop throwing things. "

Sera growled and put the glass down.

"You two will be spending a lot more time together. After you have some time to think over it. You are both being unreasonable in different ways of course, but stil unreasonable." Callen's father stated.

" I thought it over, and Im not marrying him! " She said.

" Yes you are. " her mother said.
