He hadn't really moved from his spot, but his grip around the girls neck had tightened. He was shocked, to say the least. Yet he didn't bother with the male at the moment, he was very clearly busy with choking the girl. He would have liked to stab him though, yet his knife was shoved away and he didn't really have time to get it.
(Orca I don't think anybody gets it.)

Brayden hung on like a burr, trying to get the person to lessen his his grip. He felt fear drive him as he grabbed the pocket knife from his pocket and let his fear guide him as he drove the blade towards the person's arm, trying to get a good blow on his arm so he would let go of his friend, "This is no time for jokes Nicote," He yelled, his voice shaking slightly.
(Sabira is still on the ping list... maybe we could take them off so I don't accidently (or purposely) ping them?)

He shushed her, straining to make out muffled noises from below, none of them good sounding. "I'm going to go check on the others. Don't leave. Scream for me if anything happens. Got it?" He slid out of the shop, slamming the front part closed behind him, and ran back down.

She gasped and struggled for air. She tried to pry his hand off, but he was too strong. I'm not gonna let him kill me that easily- She reached into her bag and took out... a Hydro flask, and slammed it into the bony part of his arm.
