He hates that.
He doesn't like working for anyone unless he's forced to, that's why he has a ruined leg and got a poker in the eye plus who knows what else
(Snape is a sort of anti anti hero in Harry potter, STEM is Science, technology, engineering, mathematics, Nico di Angelo is the son of Hades in Percy Jackson, and a nerd is...a nerd.)
