"Can you communicate with Erin's? Laurel's? What about Rick's? Or Katie's? Oh, and Rhys?"

"Ooh, speaking of, Laurel is a telepath. HEY, SYLVER!" Piper yelled. "WANNA GO SEE LAUREL? SHE'S ROOM 23!"

Stiffly, I glanced over my shoulder at Rhys. "E-everything's fine. I think the box just moved a bit and it startled me. Probably just my imagination." I laughed a little, somewhat awkwardly. But I froze suddenly when I though it heard something in my mind. A voice, quiet, somewhat frustrated.

Hey! Let me out already!

I flinched again, confused by the source of this sudden noise. I couldn't tell if my imagination was just messing with me, or someone was genuinely speaking to me. I placed a hand on the box again, and felt something inside shift.

The voice fell silent as I swiftly opened the box. Inside, curled up on top of what looked to be my new uniform, was a small Lunemara hatchling, covered in small segments of egg.


"Oh..."

Don't worry, I'll have Solace tell Piper you'd like to Ambrosia told Sylver. Ambrosia focused, requesting that Solace tell Piper she'd love to. Sylver started heading room 23 where Laurel is.

"Oh my gosh, what is that, it's adorable!" Rhys asked coming over. "Oh, that's what Sound mages get right? One of my older sisters has a more grown up one, I remember seeing it as a baby" Rhys said

Piper knocked on Laurel's door. "Laurel, are you in there?"

I was less shocked after my Lupora explained to me what she was. I decided to name her velvet, because of her beautiful fur. Hearing a knocking on the door, I opened it.

Standing there were Sylver and Piper. The both were in uniform, a white collared shirt with skirts, white socks, and brown shoes. Piper's skirt was a light, buttery yellow, and Sylver's was black.

"Oh, hey." I opened the door. "My two roomates aren't here yet, but one's a fire mage and the other's a Earth mage."

The girls have to wear,
1. a white-collared shirt with long sleeves, or a white collared shirt with short sleeves
2. a knee-length skirt the color of their group
3. white socks of any length
4. brown loafers
5. scholarly jackets are optional, but must be the color of your group (winter is the one exception)

Finally! I thought I was going to be in there forever!

The small creature took a hold of my hand, then made its way up my arm to perch on my shoulder. I watched it from the corner of my eye as it found the place that it considered best to sit. I jumped a little, its stubby legs sending a few shivers through my body.

What? Are you just going to stare at me, or are you going to give me a name?

"Well, he's got a... bit of an attitude," I said, assuming that Rhys couldn't hear what he was saying. "... Gervasius. Yes, that sounds right." A strange name, I had to admit, but I thought it suited his personality well. I raised a hand to stroke Gervasius' back, and found that it was a very soft fur, contrary to what I'd thought it would feel like previously.

Gervasius... Interesting. I quite like that, I assumed that you were going to name me something generic and dull. The hatchling's eyes glinted. I think we're going to get along, you and I.

Honey, Velvet said dryly. These... creatures are your friends? I'm not even going to try to hide my disapproval. The one with the mask needs a new one and the other one looks like she's constantly sugar high.

Laurel glared at her before turning to the two girls. "I was gonna go to the grounds with Velvet, but if you all want to come, we can go together. Velvet can contact Rhys, Rick, Erin and Katie for us."
