Chapter 4: Answers
1. Walking into the tunnel with the number 4 written all over it, you started to get a chill up your spine. This tunnel wasn't any brighter than the last one you're in, and after your encounter with those 'orges', you really would hope this is the right tunnel.
As you walked, the tunnel was eerily quiet. You could hear the cunch of grovel under your feet as you went deeper and deeper. Thinking that this tunnel would never end, you stepped onto a depression in the grovel! There was a loud crink of grinding gears as the ground suddenly shock like an earthquake! A gap in the floor came out of nowhere, and before you had time to react, it swallowed you up.
Soon you were free falling, the light from the gap getting smaller. Finally, you reached the ground, where numerous sharp wooden spears meet with your chest. A gurgling sound came from your mouth, and you watched as the gap closed by itself. You suddenly remembered a critical fact from somewhere:
The number 4 was the meaning of death in chinese, and often to symbolize bad omens. Since ancient China, the chinese avoided any objects with such number in fear of death, even some buildings in China had no floor 4!

2. You examined the scratch marks as you walked through the tunnel. The indentations resemble the claws of a very strong creature, possibly a tiger, and massive strength. Feeling perplex and a little bit scared, you continued to walk down the tunnel...
The scenery is exactly the same: Everywhere you look, there were dents and large scratches. It's like someone (or something) was dragging their claws across the wall as they walked. Maybe you should've chosen another tunnel, but it's too late to turn back now. You continued walking...
Somewhere in the distance, you heard a soft sobbing further in the tunnel. Confused, you struggle to decide whether this is real or all just an elaborate trap. Still, the crying tugged at your heartstrings, and you decided to check the course of this noise.
Soon, the tunnel cleared up to a large cage. Far larger then yours, at least 3 times the size. Inside was a girl in a nightgown, with long, blonde hair tied up in two pony tails. She was sitting inside the cage hugging herself as she cried. You should probably introduce yourself, she could use the company.
"Hello."
The girl suddenly snapped up, her ice blue eyes showing inner turmoil, and an almost animalistic presence. Her eyes were like a cat's, and you felt as if she could see deep into your soul. You looked at her arms and gasped. They were the claws of a tigers! Before you were two tiger claws, their size so big it's abnormal, and they reached up to her elbows. Swallowing down a scream, you tried to cover up your unease.
"I'm not here to hurt you. I'm also trapped in this place. I got kidnapped on my way to work you see, and I'm trying to find my way out."
The girl flexed her claws, glaring at you in distrust. She retreated into the back of the cage, her eyes gleaming in the dim lighting.
"Meline doesn't trust you."
So the girl's name was Meline. Poor girl, she obviously was experimented on my the crazies in this place, and you couldn't just leave her in that dirty cell.
"You name is Meline? What a lovely name you have. Why don't you get out of this cage?"
Her eyes suddenly widened, the air was thick with fear. She was visibly shaking and her eyes glowed even more. She shot me a cold hard glare, and you were taken back.
"Get out!"
She growled and roared fiercely at you, her claws smashing against the cage in agony. You tried to speak to her again, but any actions only agitated her more. Not knowing what to do, you told her that she would always be welcome to travel with you, and you left to continue on the tunnel.
A whisper echoed across the tunnel, "She'll kill me. She'll kill me."
An older version of Meline

3. You chose to take the tunnel with music playing. It was playing a soft lullaby, a beautiful tune which you just can't place the name of.
A good walk later, you could hear the lullaby louder, and could start to make out some lyrics of the song. But you still couldn't make out the exact words, are you felt like you had to follow the direction of the song.
Soon, you came upon a large cave. There was a figure sitting on top of a big stone. She (as you have figured out from her....not so covered up parts) was brushing her hair with a dried starfish. You accidentally kicked a lose pebble, and the woman turned around sharply facing you.
You gasped. In front of you was the most gorgeous woman you have ever seen. men or not, her beauty is obvious. She had a small oval face, fire red hair, and a jaw-dropping smile. Her looks could put any models to shame. But what was the most mystifying of all was the not-so-human detail below her waist. In front of your eyes was a greed fish tail adorned with jewelry and decorations. The scales shone like diamonds in sunlight. She sang a song again, and you realized that the music was coming for this mermaid!
Once he hears to his heart's content, sails on, a wiser man.
We know all the pains that the Greeks and Trojans once endured
on the spreading plain of Troy when the gods willed it so—
all that comes to pass on the fertile earth, we know it all!
Like a moth to light, you had a sudden unexplainable urge to go towards the voice, it's sweet sweet melody promising riches and peace within. The woman beckoned you to look at her eyes, the eyes that held no pupil but was like polished diamond. Nothing seems strange to you, nothing was registered. Only the voice matters. Somewhere deep in your mind you know that something is seriously wrong, but with all your might you just cannot turn away. Soon the water went up to your neck as you stumbled into the lake. It was then you realized that this woman was no mermaid. It's in impostor, a Siren!
But it was too late. You could hold your breath no longer...

4. You picked up the bible in the tunnel. Strange, who would leave a bible on the floor? You kept walking, looking at the bible in your hands in confusion. Not really knowing what to do, you held onto the bible and kept walking through the tunnel.
Not long after, you seemed to have reached a dead end. In front of you was a large concrete wall, and the only way through the wall is a small door with a passcode lock. Dumbfounded, you had no idea what to do. Obviously the crazy people working here did not give you a passcode, much less a even a hint about the passcode. What are you going to do?!
After half an hour of thinking, you were feeling very annoyed and frustrated. The lock was well refurbished, so no fingerprints or worn letters to aid you. Pissed, you threw the bible onto the floor in an angry fit. The book made a loud thump and the book flipped open. You widened your eyes, you couldn't believe your eyes! In the top edge of the page was a sequence of numbers! Maybe that's the passcode for the door!
Quickly running to the lock, you typed in the long sequence of numbers and double checked the numbers. You pressed the enter button, your heart anxious on what the result will be.
Access Accepted
You released your breath that you didn't know you were holding as the door hissed and slid open. fist pumped the air in happiness and walked through the door. As you passed through, the door automatically closed, and you forgot to bring the bible with you! D'oh!
Oh well, at least you're through. But an inkling in your mind tells you that this isn't the last of these strange happenings...
