Tails looked shocked for a moment but quickly recovered. Sonic had mentioned something about her having wings. Sonic just smiled at... Well I'm not calling her fox-chicken again. he snapped his fingers twice, trying to get Knuckles' attention (the echidna was staring to his left as if the scenery just became real interesting). Knuckles looked at Sonic and nodded. The hedgehog walked over a few paces. "Does she have a name?" He whispered. Knuckles hesitated and made a small, confused noise. "She does," he finally answered. Sonic looked at Knuckles expectantly.
"And that name is......?"
"Probably bad idea to tell you right now,"
"You don't trust me?" Sonic said in mock hurt.
Knuckles rolled his eyes but didn't respond.

Eclipse shakes her head agravated. [[Chaos I should just say my name]] [I agree something tells me sonic will get annoying if you don't.] She looks at all of them and responds with "Eclipse."

Sonic an Tails looked dumbfounded for a few seconds, but to them it felt like an eternity. Knuckles huffed and looked at Eclipse as if to say "See what I have to put up with here?" "Surprised?" He asked. "Huh, what?" Sonic replied, he and Tails looking confused. "Nice to see you still alive. Later," The echidna said, walking off. Sonic and Tails looked after him. "Loner," Sonic said as if it were an insult. He looked back at Eclipse, tempted to ask her why she never spoke up sooner. It's been almost two weeks now since the accident on Angel Island, but-- "ARRRRUGH!" Sonic snapped to attention at the cry. "The timing of these things..."

Steel scraped against stone, sending up sparks. "All right, have you never heard of an endangered species?!" Knuckles yelled over the clanking of this machine, which resembled some kind of deep sea creature. It swiped a " tentacle" at him, narrowly missing. He bounded forward, no real fear of getting injured. another tentacle launched at him, which he dodged with surprising agility. "Heh," The echidna laughed slightly. and was greeted with a blow that sent him sprawling backwards. "Need some assistance?" A voice said. It wasnt a question; it was a statement. "Help yourself," Knuckles replied out of breath. "I dont need your charity," he added dryly, half expecting either Eclipse or Tails nearby. As if to prove his point, he picked himself up and rushed ahead to rejoin the battle.

Eclipse looks at the robot it seems familiar....is it based off a species shes seen before? Probably a squid or something. (I just found out echindas lay eggs today. O-o my dad was watching this thing about animals and I hear Platypus's and echindas are the only mammals that lay eggs.) Eclipse is unsure what to do she actually,dispite her violent past hates fighting inless need be. So she will watch only intervene when she has to. Though she actually is a bit scared just not to much right now. Eclipse looks around this one could be a distraction! She huddles closer to Tails.

(Another fact echidnas get ridiculed for. They actually mentioned something about eggs in the comic as well. Knuckles' father-- I won't spoil it for you.)

"Tails we could use some assistance!" Sonic said, curving around some more tentacles. "What should I do?" Tails yelled over the machine. "HACK IT!" Sonic and Knuckles (every time I use the phrase, I have a theme song playing in my head) shouted in unison. "Oh, right," Tails said to nobody in particular. He looked down at Eclipse. "You'll be alright?"

Eclipse nods at Tails. She watches everything closely. [Eclipse you are very focused there.] [[I know I never learned hacking before so I might as well now it could prove useful in the future.]] Eclipse wasn't paying attention to her surroundings only the battle.

Armed with a screwdriver and wire cutter, Tails flew off. Sonic looked up at him. Good luck. He turned his attention to Knuckles, who was stumbling backwards a few paces. "How many times are you gonna get hit?" he asked sarcastically. Knuckles glared at him and growled. He might have said something too, but it was hard to tell. Sonic turned away and made to spindash, but thought better of it, having experience with tentacles from Chaos and other robots of similar design. suddenly, there was an electronic hum, and the tentacles sagged. Sonic smiled. "Nice going Tails!" he shouted. Knuckles nudged one of the tentacles, looking a bit disappointed.

Eclipse giggles at knuckles disappointed face. Why does anyone get so excited for a battle she may never know. Maybe one day she will but she doubts its anytime soon. [Hey Eclipse I think I heard something.] [[Eh it probaly was caused by grumpy over there nothing showed up but that one robot so I'm sure we are safe.]] Eclipse shakes her head these three guys antics are funny.

Knuckles was still staring at the tentacle, only now he looked lost in thought rather than disappointed. Sonic walked over and looked at it as well. "I don't see it," he said casually after a few moments. "See what?" Knuckles asked, looking up.
"that's what I'm trying to figure out,"
"Oh,"
The two stood there for a bit longer, eyes locked. Tails spoke up next. "Do you wanna, I don't know, crash at my place for a bit?" Knuckles muttered something inaudible, and Sonic just shrugged.

Eclipse goes over to them and pokes the robot. It wasen't alive like Metal is but there was something off about it. The off feeling was still there as she studys the robot then she growls and tears of a few pieces of the robot and pulls out a orb that had....hey its that parrot from the island! Eclipse frees it and watches it fly off. [Um Eclipse its the parrot from the island.] [Yeah I know its the parrot from the....island..oh god its the parrot from the island. Eclipse gasps and goes over to knuckles trying to grab his attention.
