Mysty slowly dragged herself out of the creek, then quickly killed the fish. With a giant sigh of relief the alpha looked toward the three and grinned widely. "Uh, I realized the pups hadn't ate fish before so thought that they might wish to try some." Her words were soft as the water in her coat slowed its frantic falling from her body. Tia and Terrin leaped forward, very much happy to try a new kind of food. The pups sniffed at the fish before Terrin tore into it with his sharp teeth. Tia backed away looking disgusted "it smells funny, I don't like fish." The look and the young pups face was priceless. The alpha didn't know a wolf could look so disgusted and serious at the same time which caused her to chuckle, for she didn't like fish that much if she had a choice.

Titus' tail wag "yes, it's important to stay in contact so you don't get seperated or abandoned!!!" he bounds in a circle

The snow piled on Blackclaw, he felt like he was being dragged somewhere. He had no idea what was going to happen. He never woke up, he was breathing, but his eyes were shut. He only heard noises, they were blurry sounding.

He tried, oh he tried not to laugh at her, but as the tension disapeared he couldnt help but laugh. As the pups were sniffing at the fish he finally calmed down enough to stop laughing. He sat down cleaning his fur, trying to make it lay down again. Once the small pup spoke he smiled a bit. "I quiet like fish, and to know how to hunt them can save your life on more than one ocasion" he told the pup as she frowned. He himself is used to eat everything from bugs to the massiv elk and everything inbetween. "My first winter the pack survived mainly due to fish and rabits, all the pother prey moved away to other terretories. They didnt dare take us to other packs terretory while we were so young" he explained. Once he had been laying for a while he stod up stretching his limbs, making him look ridiculous. As he finaly stood normally he looked around. "How about we go hunting?" he asked looking at Myst before his left ear moved for a sound.

A sent of rabits made him begin to walk without even waiting for answer. He asumed she would smell the rabits and join him for what could werry well be a feast atleast for the pups, one rabit each should be more than enough, specially since the young male were already eating on a fish. Bending his knees to get down and close to the ground he slowly moved forward, while getting to some shrubberies he stoped, looking around with his ear constantly forwards. The fluffy tail was pointing backwards as it rested on the ground. After a bit of sniffing he carefully walked towards the prey Still hi legs bent to stay close to the ground. Despit his well feed body and his big paws he walked pretty much with no sound what so ever. Just as he got out of sight from the creek he stoped, staring at the family of rabits. Six of them all in all. Wihtout miving his head he scouted the suroundings.

On purrley instinkt he slwly and carefully walked around the rabits. Finally on the other side of the rabits he layed down on the ground staring at them to decide who to take. One looked really huge, fat or expecting he didnt know, all he knew is that it meant more food either way. He looked at the other rabits, they all looked normal so the main objective would be the fat one, and then the rest would be someting extra.

Song nodded, "Yes both important. There are also other reasons. It helps with hunting and defense. Once you are old enough you will help patrol our borders. If you know where your pack mates are you can signal for help if you encounter intruders. If you are injured you can call to them for aid. So it is important that you learn the meanings of the different howls we use, and learn to recognize the voices of the pack. Every pack uses different howls to communicate. Our pack songs are what help to keep us together as a pack."

Mysty huffed and stayed where she was, knowing that her sopping wet fur would slow her down and only attract all sorts of debris to her. She would be as effective at hunting the rabbits as the pups. Slowly because she was very curious she followed Rhodry's scent and saw the rabbit family. However she was not going to intervene or get too close. The alpha desperately wished for her fur to dry quickly, she didn't even want to imagine what she actually looked like right now. Lowering her body so that she was closer to the ground she watched, making sure none of her fur touched the ground. Seeing the largest rabbit out of the group she knew witch one Rhodry would be after...

Tilts his head "they all sound the same to me..."

Song raised her eyebrows. "Then that shall be your lesson tonight when the pack is all together. Its about time you started learning the art of howling."

He perks and his tail wags, hiding between her legs "really?! Really and truely?!!"

Blackclaw heard wolves walking, he was still in a deep fainting state. He felt like he was cold, he tried opening his eyes as he entered a day dream. He saw his old friends, but they disappeared when he walked near them and the three wolves attacked him again.
