"Horrible? But didn't you just say it's where 'the Gods' favorite lived'? Why would it be so horrible?" I question, glancing back every so often to make sure Amie and the sylestis were doing okay. I would definitely have to repay them somehow for putting up with this.

You begin walking down the path to your left. As you had previously predicted the path opens up after only a few minutes of walking. In front of you lay a field of long green grass and brightly coloured flowers that seemed to glow white in the bright sunlight. You had the urge to leave the path and run through the field to enjoy the sunlight, but you really didn't want to leave the forged safety that the path held.
She glances down briefly before using the wall to drag herself up to her feet. Stumbling slightly and wincing as the ground continued to shake with an alarmingly ominous hum.
"Well, Mother said to come home imminently. She doesn't want me to get trapped here when the world switches..."
She repeats taking a few steps down into the tunnel.
He cocks his head to the side slightly and smiles in a confused sort of way. He lets go of your wrist and takes several steps back. Glancing away from him you survey your surroundings slowly. A path extends back into the trees and you could swear that you could see gold and marble peaking out from behind them.
"Uh...? No problem, I guess...? Did you come from the other side?"
She glances up and smiles briefly at you before turning back to the flowers.
"Tell me if you need anything!"
As you look around you find that there are hundreds of books lining the shelves, placed so the spines face you, many of which had titles in a language that you couldn't read. They appear to be placed in a colour-coded order starting at black and running all the way to red. As you drag your eyes across the first shelf you come to a few of the legible titles read 'Athya's Hero', 'Carran to Ayrith', 'Study of The Ruins' and 'The Forgotten Paths, a Guide to Navigating Them'.
