Blue adjusted her bracers they fit perfect she would have to thank the Black smith upon her return. She flicked her tail and flattened her ears the garment she was wearing was as always comfortable, but not fitting for the mood. Delicate chains laced her sides she had removed her bags and satchel, so she only had a leather strap for her sword. the cloths that lined the chains at her side were a bright white in color and highly decorated, She had also removed her goggles and replaced it with a matching diadem For once she truly looked Royal, even with her sword in place. " Ready?" she asked Tatsu her expression as normal as ever.

Tomen was lagging behind a bit but no more than usual, he had black plating an bracers the decorated his body, though his gems were still visible. He adjusted the cuffs on his wings and maneuvered them. the Armor was clearly worn, but seemed strong. He caught a glimpse of BlueJay through Tatsu's legs and smiled, she was Wearing the Garments he had made for her such a long time ago... they were intended for a wedding, but they looked lovely regardless. he smiled and leaped forwards a bit " Et luna, et stellis mea !" he shouted to her. he knew she could take care of herself so they would part ways for now, but he knew it wouldent be for long.

Blues ears Perked up at the words, she knew it must be Tomen and turned giving a wide grin looking truly happy as she hollered back "Kanunay!" their parting was only temporary, and though she enjoyed fighting with Tomen, she was happy to fight in general, After all That was the one thing she was good at besides strategies.

Tatsu & Ainsleigh

The blades fitted over his claws perfectly and shined in the dull light as he flexed his hands. The smithy had planned for the claws to wrap over his gauntlets so they wouldn't chaff his scaly flesh. Tatsu cracked his knuckles and smiled at Blue Jay's question. "We're warriors Blue, when aren't we ready?" He asked rhetorically. "And don't worry about your mate. Ainsleigh will look out for him, even so they won't be more than five or ten meters behind us." It was a very good day for a fight. He shook his wings and stretched them once or twice to check that the rapier style blades functioned and he was rewarded with a little "snict" sound when they locked open, and the tell tell ringing when theyretracted.

Ainsleigh felt good about how she had lain out the party. Even if they got split up Tatsu could rely upon Blue to handle tactics so he could focus on making himself so big a target that any opponents they ran into would focus on him and not the little nixi and ryori that were with him. She had tested her claws reflexes satisfactorily while they waited. "Don't get too lovey dovey before it's over Tomen. You can lick each other and your wounds after we've gotten out. Everybody knows what they are here to do, so let's move in. Tatsu, hold point for about ten meters, then let Nina go ahead to scout."

Tatsu snorted and tilted his head in confirmation. He didn't need any other command and he proceeded in at a stroll letting his wings out half fan so Nina and Blue could get behind them and use as a blind so enemies wouldn't see them until they were point blank with them. It was his job to be high profile, so he didn't bother using stealth he let his feet slap the deck though his tail stayed six inches above the deck to keep his balance.

Nina wanted to run. She wanted to scream but she held her ground. She got out her dagger. She called for the others. She closed her eyes and when she opened them all she could think about was..... would she die if she fought? Would this be her last breath?

Tatsu & Ainsleigh

"If I just got a copper for every time I've been told I would die, I could retire a happy scaly." He said as he marched into give Nina some cover.He stopped just before the rose pattern on the floor and tried his best to position himself with both glowing waterfalls in his visual arc. He placed his legs apart and bent to lower his center of gravity. "Well if your coming to kill me, best do it now before I get bored and fall asleep." He replied back.

This was the part Ainsleigh disliked the most. Having to watch as her mate led point into battle and taking the hurts so others wouldn't half to and could make the time for his allies to get in the precision strikes on their enemies. She allowed Tatsu to get his position and she could see the two of five waterfalls that glowed and drew her attention to presuming the voices came from those two. "Nina and Blue, keep a wary eye on those dark waterfalls and don't worry so much about the lit ones yet. We've got good range to bolt freeze them from back here." She called away just loud enough for their lugs to catch it just above a whisper. For this she had hoped the water wasn't too loud for them to hear her. The five waterfalls maybe hiding caves, alcoves or doorways. Whatever the case the room bottle-necked in the party's favor. There were eight of them and only five waterfalls to cover, so they should be able to hold their ground even if 20 or 30 critters came pouring in upon them.

Nina nodded nervously. She didn't like have had the raid. She hoped Apollo was alright. She looked at the unlit waterfalls. She hoped nothing came out of them. She didn't want to fight right now. She was worried and she would freeze up. She sighed and walked slightly towards the unlit waterfalls hoping to give the others space to file in.

Blue chuckled at Tatsu's comment, A Death wish was equivalent to one hell of a time in her book. She smirked and padded around him so she could see those who were speaking, without thinking she asked a strange question " Which one of you smell like Lavender?" Se asked before taking her sword in her jaws and flicking her tail and focusing on one of the Dark waterfalls.

Tomen was listening his dagger at the ready. Though he seemed ready to pounce the smell was quite distracting, but he knew he couldn't let that get to him.

Nina hated this. She growled and stood her ground as best as she could. How dare this creature! She attacked the morkko with her dagger. She was quick and agile but she was at a disadvantage. She knew her weapon might break. She didn't want to resort to using up her powers. She continued to growl. Who would save her if it got rough? No one....... or at least she thought. She kept her eyes open.

Blue Laughed " Glad to know I've got a play mate.." she said seriously, her ears flattening and her tail swishing as electricity coated her body. she wore a smirk and her eyes were bright and attentive, she was truly having fun with this. If there was on thing she had learned from Tomen it was that the shadows cant touch the light, so with her electricity coating her body and shadow attacks this ryori wanted to throw would be useless, now that left him limited. She smiled " Your Turn Bones.." she said taking her sword in her mouth her electricity illuminating it as well.

Tomen was relived that Blue was on her own now, She could go full out and not hold back, plus it looked like shadow magic, something she was all to familiar with. He glanced at Ainsleigh " Come'n lets handle these two, careful and watch your step." he said padding beside her. whit that a shadowy whisking smoke covered his feet and seemed to wisp from the rest of him as well.
