A small flash of gold and red caught your eye as a figure momentarily wandered out into the clearing slightly before continuing along the path straight back into the forest. You could still make out the rough shape of the person disappearing into the trees.

I sigh. I explain to her why I took that precaution, and also about that specific pathway that she was in. Then, I walk around her and pull the arrow out, relieved to see that it had mostly stopped bleeding. I also give her some food as an apology.

I pick up the blade and inspect it closely, then put it back in the sheath, at the same time trying to keep Meteorite in the corner of my eye.
Meteorite stares at you for a second before doing the dragon equivalent of a shrug. He just pokes the blade a few times with his snout before jumping over your head and landing on the ground below the tree.
What should you do?

I smile down at Amie. Taking the book from her hand, I place it and the one I was holding down on the women's desk. "How much are each of these," I ask, taking the paper and slipping it into my backpack delicately so it doesn't ruin the design.
You wander out from under the cover of the trees and into the open field. You glance around cautiously, checking every corner of your vision for anything that may propose an imminent threat to your safety. Upon finding nothing you continue along the path.
Brightly coloured flowers of different kinds line the sides of the path and span off to every end of the open field. Some of the said flowers seemed to glow faintly. Now halfway across the field, you could make of the rough shapes of buildings.
