Her breathing eventually went back to normal and she looked around. "Where does that door go? We could escape out of it?" She said walking over and quietly lifting the boxes away

He dragged the boxes over to the grate, "I don't know, but it probably locks from the inside, so that's helpful. Check if it leads out, but we're still on the second floor."

Bev nodded and opened it, walking a few steps in and putting her foot by the door frame so it wouldnt close. "Seems like it's just a sto-" she let out a small scream as something furry brushed her ankle. She feel forwards in an attempt to get away and the door shut. She could hear the little clicks of nails and rat like bodies touching her. "VAL! VALERIO LET ME OUT THERE'S MONSTER MICE!"

He had turned to look at the injured one. The comments he was making were starting to ignore him. He had just wanted to choke the male, maybe he should sow his mouth together. Anything to make him stop rambling about how he was stupid. He was somewhat offended that he was comparing idiotic people to himself.
He had stepped towards the male, wanting to just stab him in the chest. Yet he thought he had heard yelling, which caused him to stop, something about mice? Perhaps the rats had got them, well he had no idea what they could really do. He was only seemingly friends with them at the moment. Hopefully they had bit them though, ripped some skin off. Maybe given them some deadly disease.

When Beverly ditched them and Valerio followed, Haliey frowned. Great, now around half of them were separated. And she's definitely not gonna forgive Beverly anytime soon if they managed to survive this. A man wants to kill them, Beverly and Valerio ran off, and Nicote is injured and getting delirious. This day just can't get any better. She tried to move Nicote further away from the crazy man while he was distracted by Beverly's screaming.

Valerio started at her screams, yanked open the door, and beheld a sight of what looked like hundreds of huge rats, their front teeth gleaming in the dim light. He yelped, kicking a crate into the door to hold it open, and stabbed several of them with the glass shard, gritting his teeth.

Bev stumbled out, pulling Valerio with her. She slammed the door shut and huffed. "They bit me and if we survive this I'm going to have some dumb mouse flu." She said as she slid onto the ground. She stared into space for a second before looking horrified. "I screamed Val."
