You wake up in a bare room with pretty much nothing except a desk and chair. sitting on the desk facing you is a guy. he looks up at you and glares "Of course I'd make you better than me. Better looking, witty, natural leader." He scoffs and seems to be talking to himself. "I suppose it's in my nature to be lesser." He sighs and beckons you over "let's get this over with."

you don't see any patterns or anything p[articularily interesting about them. but as you observe more you find tiny letters written on some. Most are faded but two read:

"In loving memory of-"

and

"Hope"

You can if you like or you could fly up to the island and explore it too.

Kuro sucks in a breath. "This was... A gravestone?" She asks to herself. Using her observational skills, she tries to discern how old the monument is.

you find plenty scattered everywhere however as you go to pick one up you realize your hand is on fire.

it looks ancient. at least 100 years old.
