I was thinking lets find a clearing by a stream? Still in the forest though. She told Iris. She pointed into the forest, going deeper in would be good.

He follows you up. You both break the surface to see it's still noonish

Iris circles down too and motions to where the gurgling water is. She leads you to a pretty clearing with sunlight streaming in and a small creek flowing past.

You see plenty of branches, vines, and leaves that could be used in making a hut. you could also try and build a sort of forgery to try and make a stone hut but this'll take much longer and you don't have the skill for this, you'd need to get a proper forger.
