It's as if nothing just happened at all. The same ambient forest sounds, the sun shining cheerfully in the sky. It's kind of annoying, really.

Can't you tell? They're not giving off any heat, so I'd assume so. Magically created, too.

I stand up and walk circles around a tree. Everything's fine. Maybe this is some kind of dream, or nightmare, there's no way thins is all real, it's too fantastic. Then again, there's the small problem that my brain hasn't been nearly this creative before....

No. Like I said, I don't think there are Avia living here right now. Most likely these flames have been burning long after they left.
The stairway ends at the beginning of a tunnel. Slightly less claustrophobic than the entrance, but you'll have to crawl.
