Last week (ahem, pg. 79, I mean) on Race against Fate TV! Your character and your dragon were being assaulted by flesh-eating death birds! The dragon said they were afraid of earth and you asked if you guys should walk, and so the Dragon replied with:

"How're you going to get to a city in the sky by walking?"

DUN DUN DUUUUNNNNNNNNN!!!!!
What happens next?!

(XD sorry I was imitating TV)

"Is there anything we could protect ourselves with that we already have? Could youd you maybe fly down and then we could i dunno roll in mud?"

Thalia points in your direction and clicks her fingers. Shadows reared up from the ground and solidified, engulfing you and your magic in darkness. The shadows squeeze inwards and shatter your shield. "Okay, stop!" Thalia says, and the shadow retreats. "I have just used my supported, known to common people as familiars. We will be learning about them a bit. Com'ere."

The Griffin shook free and also dived down the tree. Apparently, talking about the mage didn't make it feel very good.

A couple of corpses lie around and a group of three wounded people lean against the wagon, gasping for air. Suspiciously, you don't see the attackers.

There is a flash of light and the narrator appears in the air above your dragon! (Yes, I can do this LOL)

"I AM GOING TO GIVE YOU FIVE RANDOM QUESTIONS!" She yells, scaring away some birds. "IF YOU MANAGE TO ANSWER THEM ALL, THESE BIRDS SHALL DISAPPEAR! WHAT DO YOU SAY? YES OR NO?"

(I have a knack for dramatic stuff :P)
