Ahh yeah, same here I learn best through doing things but the problem is whenever I stress out I end up trying to do something that will make me feel less stressed.
I guess one of the major things is that my class is really competitive, like we're all friends but most of them like teasing each other based on grades and stuff like that. I really didn't start stressing out till like 9th grade since 7th grade and 8th grade were basically all review and before that I went to a private school so whoops, I've created a somewhat good but bad habit.

Everything in moderation, honestly.
I try not to care too much what people think these days and honestly as much as it's a sore spot for me that my parents never tried to get me into a better school (or really did anything for me education wise other than considering me mentally handicapped because of a slight learning disability with math), I've learned grades aren't as important as understanding the information itself and having the diploma and degree to show for it. Once you become an adult, no one really cares too much about your GPA in a workplace, lol.
But that's just been my experience.

That is true...but schools push it so hard now a days its kinda like an oof
It's really weird because I stress so much before but I don't stress during or after what happens
(Yeah, GPA is honestly kinda dumb, especially with weighted because it encourages ap classes, but say you want to learn a skill and its an honors class it'll drop your gpa)

Yeah, I regret not taking any AP classes to get myself ahead (my parents' decision, not mine) at least in English and science or anything because the school recommended them for me since I was testing extremely highly on placements.
I was just so lazy with homework at the time AP anything would have killed me, lol.
The only classes I had a hard time with was alg 2 and pre-calc (because I can't do mental math at all. Never have been able to) because the school decided to rework the grading scale my junior year to make a C- a failing grade.
I got through pre calc with a C and it was death. Like idk my GPA still could have been higher but all things considered I don't mind being considered a B student, but what I do mind is having to retake a bunch of standardized tests again now that most of my scores had expired. But bleh
I never liked the idea of trying to go to an esteemed college anyways, I don't have the money for that, all I want is just a long term job. XD

Yeah, that's true colleges cost so much money.
Depending on which career path I chose I might just decide to stay at our instate college...but then again I still need to chose a career path
Ahhh I enjoy algebra and pre cal because I could follow a pattern with it (but for some reason, I never solve the problems by the step by step method so whenever I do get stuck on a problem its just torture)

Honestly I'm just trying to reteach myself calculus, trig, and algebra right now because I've not done any of it in so long. My brain feels like mush
honestly I still can't decide on a career path or major and I'm 24, LOL
I'm just picking what works best with my needs and stability. High school me wanted to go to art school to learn concept art and animation and now adult me just snickers at that and waits to die at a tech or trade job because science jobs don't pay enough and I have IT skills already
Maybe one day I'll get into a field I like doing.

Yeah, that's true, my mom wanted me to go on into medicine but I don't think I can survive that much school.. then there's also the fact that I'm alergic to preservatives they use in the things you dissect so...whoops
Then my dad goes like you should go into law school because I do mock trial...but I looked into it and I don't really think I would want to do it long term
So now I'm like what to do...(I'll figure it out one day...probably not though)
