Bio: The "realisric" one is that he ran away from his "fmaily" and has been hopping in and out of foster care / Nicotes basement. Somehow fostering never quite works out for him.....

The fantasy bio is basiclaly that he grew up on the streets and needing sustenance worked his way into getting Nicote to agree to letting him stay aorjnd.

A couple days and 3 pages because no one joined and the person running it got sad about it
I'll just copy paste his bio here even though I have zero idea what to do with him now.

I just find him neat.

Name: Ace Atelier
Mutation: He can create bladed weapons, barriers, and various tools from smoke.
Gender: Male
Age: 28
Appearance:

He has a normally gothic aesthetic and enjoys formalwear. No one really knows what his natural hair color or eye color are as he goes to great lengths to mantain an outlandish appearance through cosmetics.

Backstory: He was left in an orphanage as a young child until he was adopted by a wealthy family as an only child, so it never occurred to him that his birth parents dumped him over him being a mutant. That being said, he didn't discover his strange power for himself until he was 17 and he was pressured into trying a cigarette for the first time. He keeps his power hidden, even from his family, unless his life is in immediate danger or he has great need of it, careful to not inadvertently trip it while feeding his habit of smoking whenever he is stressed.
Abilities: He's pretty good at finding ways to light things on fire. Almost too good. He might be a bit of an arsonist, actually. Ace is also pretty good with a lockpick and breaking into places, not that he'll say why.
Weapons: Do cigarettes count? He mostly just keeps a lot of them and a metal lighter on hand to use in a pinch if he needs to light something on fire. He doesn't mind fighting persay, but he would rather not go out of his way since he's never had a particular reason to and doesn't see the point in making reasons now.
Personality: Ace is pretty straight-laced, witty, and friendly unless someone pushes his buttons. He has a hard time getting angry due to an almost people-pleasing level of patience, looking at most things with curiosity and a sort of burning optimism. Sometimes this can be mistaken as arrogance and naivety, but Ace dislikes any sort of negativity in his life, a bizarre contrast to his bizarre ways of dressing.
Love Interest: Open, he's openly pansexual so have at it.

Most of mine are teens (and honestly Nic's the only one besides Cath I actually have adult-sized stuff for)

and the plus is that he hasn't gotten his set ability yet! yippe!

It was tailored moreso to the rp, I can definitely change it.

I don't think I could make this guy any younger than 23 without needing to find a completely new ref (or make one grr)
But if anything I'm almost always down to keep character relationships platonic or like partners in crime because I see this dude here already as this type of thief.

He's an attempt to revise one of my old medieval rogue characters I've long since abandoned so I can pretty much do what I want with him at this point

Only things I'm looking to keep are the goth aesthetic and his smoke power

I'm terrible at young adult characters (mostly cuz no experience, plus my cousins who are young adults are....um....busy with school so yea not much info lol)

I'm terrible with teens because I'm adult
so yeah sort of a reverse situation, LOL

I've tried to force myself to write a large age range of characters but any character under 16 is just super painful for me to write
