Piper raced off after Sylver. When they reached the base of the tower, Piper could see that the first few floors were dormitories and the rest were classrooms.

"Syl, we'll have one other girl in our room- new friends!" She squealed, walking through the doors (the doors would disappear as students walked through) and hurried inside the tower. It was a beautiful tower, of course, but the inside was three times as perfect.

The lobby was decorated with a huge aquarium. Shops decorated the sides of the surprisingly large room. The were elevators leading underground to a bunch of restaurants, and the elevators going up were made of pure glass.

"Wow!" Piper spun in a circle. "So awesome!"

(Sorry about being so late, I majorly overslept.)

"Yeah let's do it!" Erin shouted to her friends. Behind her were the cases for her instruments. The largest case was clearly her harp and all of the other cases were "expertly" balanced.
Wonder if I'll have a roommate, not much different from home if like that.

Erin followed Piper and Sylver to their floor, then climbed one more flight to her room...

Rhys said goodbye to his sisters, then decided to go look for his roomate. "Hey, uh, Rick, right? Do you know who your roomate is yet?" Rhys asked him.

After memorising the room number and floor, I stopped to look over at Rhys.

"Yeah, I'm Rick." I smiled very slightly. "You're... Rhys?" Glancing down at the half-folded piece of paper in my hands, I shook my head in response to his second question. "No, I don't know who my roommate is, I forgot to write down their name." It was rather foolish of me to have forgotten to do so, but now that I was here, I supposed that it would have to remain a mystery until I got to my room.

Tucking my paper into my back pocket, I stared up at the tower once more. My floor was probably at least half way up, and the thought was rather daunting. I sighed, hoping that I wouldn't have too much trouble getting up there.

Sylver dragged the two girls to the elevator, super excited to see their room "../ .-- --- -. -.. . .-./ .-- .... .- -/ - .... ./ ... ..- .-. .--. .-. .. ... ./ .. ..." Sylver wondered

Piper flung open the door to their room.

The room was amazing. Dark mahogany floors, with a small kitchenette and bathroom. There were three beds, designed so they hovered a foot of the ground so you could store luggage. Each bed had pristine sheets matching the color of their group- this room had one bed that was buttery yellow, another the color of onyx, and the final one a beautiful shade of blue.

On each bed rested a box. The boxes were silver, with a simple gold ribbon holding it together. Piper rushed to hers. She pulled it open and-

-in it was an egg. The egg sat upon her uniform, which was folded neatly.


"Huh? Sylver, do you have an egg too?" Just as she spoke, the egg cracked open and a little dragon stepped out.

"I don't think I ever really knew my roomate's name" Rhys admitted. "I just have my room, so, wanna head over to our rooms now?" Rhys asked.

"Sure." After all, everyone else had already vanished to go find their rooms in the tower, and although being alone in my ascent would give me some space to think clearly, getting lost without someone else in such a large space was something that I was not keen on. I began to make my way inside, and paused for a moment in the doorway to wait for Rhys.

Piper screamed. In one fluid motion, she tore her shoes of at shot one with great accuracy right at the dragon.

It hit it's mark, and the dragon let out a growl before tipping over. Ow, you're not supposed to try to kill me!

Piper froze at the voice in her head. "Excuse me?" Then she realized that she had gotten a pet. It was to be her companion. Her parents had them, and they were an important part of the household.

"So sorry!" She apologized.
