It looks like a normal feather, although it's in perfect condition. As you hold it, you begin to descend.

You're kneeling, not standing. Finally you feel like you come to a 'stop' and you're no longer being pulled deeper into the other world, except... you have no idea how to get back to the forest and you feel as strangely helpless as ever. You can now move more easily.

Yeah, I was thinking, but it's not... powerful enough? I thought that if it was from one of them, it would be more, I guess. And why would a feather still be here?

She shivered. Let's not think about that. And we... fade away after we die. So there's no trace. Some say that there's no afterlife for us either, but I prefer not to think about that kind of stuff.
