"Nope, it's ingrained into us. If you're a normal person, at least in Terrarine, you can do a bit- not much though, gotta get it from a specila shop or something. Ify ou have what we call GIfts, you get some random power and just way more magical ability. Lineage helps. Hence why i just cuaght magic from the air." Lishian shrugs.

"It changes a bit depending on which world you orignate in and which form you have at the moemnt." Hanako adds. "Lishian has an easier tim e with magic outside the worlds while I struggle a bit more."

"well, i'm sure you'll master our magic quick" Eli encourages. "all people from our world have a tiny bit of magic in them that can be expanded upon, but the people who do are usually those from powerful bloodlines that are brimming with magic" she explains.

"you're not from our world, but i can feel some magic in you yet" she grins, tapping the book between us.

"Probably because bEveryone from the Interspace has their destiny woven into the worlds magic itself. Hanako comments. Ill probably never have the power some of the major folks like Lish here will, Im meant to stay in the background.
We love preassigned roles! Lishian grimaced.

"sometimes the backgound is the best place to be" i shrug, remembeing the Kassandors heirs destiney. i definetly do not want to get a surfboard sized sword to the heart like she did, i was very fortunate to be a background character then.

"besides" i shrug "you're cool in my book"

"Thanks. Wish i could say the same for myself- the Narrators were dead set on nerfing my hair powers after I used them a little too well once...." Hanako chuckled.

"She got hit with some movement thing in another world and the Narrators basically just slapped a label on it and called it a day." Lishian explained.

"Yeah, it's like I glitch sometimes if i do certian things now." Hankao grumbles.

"aww that sucks, the narrarators don't sound very fun" i gripe. but hey....the narrarators probabaly can''t see us here, can they? i mean, i can't connect with the other cat, so....

"Let's hope, but I doubt it. They control everything, even we're not under their watch at the time." Lishian shrugs.
"No, you're just old according to the aging system." Hanao deadpans.

"well, here's to hoping" eli shrugs, raising her hands in an odd three finger gesture. i mimik the gesture, before quickly getting distracted as the car slowls to a stop.

"looks like we're here" i exclaim, pressing my face and peering out the window, but it's tinted too dark to see out of clearly.

"Fun! Let's go!" Lishian grins.

"And he has no self preservation becuas eveyrthing always works out for him." Hanako sighs, following

"you can't say you aren't a little excited" i shrug, stepping out of the car. Eli follows after, taking the hand i hold out for her to help her out of the car.

the scene in front of us is gorgeous; a massive forrest filled with hundreds of trees, each type looking as if it were plucked from a different world and placed here.

"this is as far as i can take you" the driver says, stepping out of the car "the patchwork forrest is far too dense for anyone to go through it, but whatever is on the other side ought to be worth it" he shrugs, turning back to the car. "good luck" he adds, slamming the door shut.
