Callen just laid his head on the side of the pond and muttered, "yeah, right." On most other occasion he would've joined the princess in running but right now.....well, he was honostly too pained to move his feet. Because healed boots really hurt and it seemed that Sera didnt care that he was still in all his finery gwtup.

Unlike him, she wasn't wearing shoes at all. But she was a fighter, and managed to fight off any guards that came for her.

So they went for the prince. Who found himself being kverpampered by guards. And hauled off to dry off.

Callen's parents looked up surprised. "Why, you're dripping wet! Whatever happened?" the Quee of Bildernia cried out. "And your clothes and shoes..."
"A better question would be, how on earth did you get out and where is Callen?" her husband interrupted his wife's fussings.

Sera sighed. " Hes fine, the guards have him. And I broke a window. "

" Seraphina! What did I tell you? This marriage is for your benefit! " Her mother said to her. She stood, walking to her and checking her for any wounds. " Thank goodness you're safe. "

"Because she pushed me out first." Callen groaned, dragging himself in. "Now can I step aside and let Caleb do the dirty work of getting married and ruling countries?"

"Callen...." his father warned. "We have a treaty and we must proceed. THe announcements have alrady been made."

His motherwas too bus y fussing over him to do more then murmur about how he should've cut his hair etc etc

" This is stupid. " She said, waving away her mothers hands. " I'm not getting married. "

" Then how are you going to produce heirs? " Her father asked.

Sera scoffed and rolled her eyes.

"Uh...no offense but I'm like the last person you want ruling countries." Callen said.
