Looking around after your head has stopped spinning, you see travelers carrying luggage and people, probably workers, wearing silver jackets with pins on them, heading in every direction. Floating signs point in the direction of various places you'll probably have to go eventually. But right now, you have no idea where you're supposed to go or what you're supposed to be doing now.

I stop and gaze at the windows, completely awed by grandiose entrance. Coming back to myself, I shy away from the crowds, glancing at the signs for one indicating an employment office or information desk.

"A familiar? <-- wait help does she know what that is if so just ignore that sentence and the rest of this." To herself she was quite suprised it could talk. "That's a pretty name."

There's a boy with messy brown hair standing at a nearby information desk of some sort, tapping his foot impatiently. There's a white animal, you can't tell what it is, curled up lazily at the edge of the desk. He finally notices you standing confused and hurriedly beckons you over.


I rush over hurriedly and offer the boy a smile, he must see all types right? "Hi, I'm Ingrid."

(She's heard of them but doesn't know anything other than that they're animals who live in Candela)

"Yes," she purrs. "It means 'snow'. Like my fur."

"Cool" Astra said with a nod. "Ermmmm I don't know much about you, want to elaborate?" she said tryign to phrase it in the best way she could

"Well that depends. What do you want to know?"

He smiles back. You notice his nametag reads Dashiell. "Hi! You're the new employee here, right?" he asks. He sounds friendly enough. The animal in the corner raises its head to regard you with curious mismatched eyes. It's a cat. You have no idea what it's doing here but it seems to belong.


"Yes," I reply. "Will you direct me to the right location?" My formal demeanor melts into a coo when I see the cat. "Oh they're adorable! May I pet your cat?" I ask, forgetting why I'm here and crouching down to their level.
