They can but they have to use there born gender but there trans and since there all out the they aren't really accepted in their birth genders bathroom either because of this fact. Just makes me angry as they are my closest friends

Okay, is it me or is the American education system completely going downhill?! I mean, it's obvious that they doesn't really care about the younger generation otherwise they wouldn't allow this kind of bs to happen. I mean, they do realize that we are the future and so are the younger generations and so on meaning that there have to some kind of solutions to problems like bullying and the issue of transgenders not having anywhere to use the bathroom I mean, they deserve the same rights as the rest of us! Political wise, it may seem small but small problems get bigger if you toss them aside. Example, depression is the most common mental illness in America, and intentional harm/suicide is the top ten most common disease. At this rate, our country is going to fall apart

Ye I know. Our school system is rocky at the best of times. They need to modernize the school codes to fit with how society Should think but really doesn't because we're mostly all idiots
