I nodded in response to Sylver's question, but did not speak. I was more interested in trying to work out what I could see from the window. It seemed that others were beginning to leave their planes - probably those from higher years, judging by their attire.

I turned my head to see that everyone was leaving the plane. Grabbing my bag from overhead, I began to make my way out of the plane behind Piper and Laurel, my gaze flickering over everything as I descended the stairs.

So this is it.

Ahead of the two girls loomed a huge crystal skyscraper. The walls were a see-through white, and it was standing over two more skyscrapers. The middle one was gold tinted, while the smallest was silver tinted.

"The older third year students are in the platinum tower," Piper explained. "They have one-on-one classes, while we have the Silver tower. The second years have classes spaced out by talent and skill level."

Laurel smiled, before muttering a bunch of hasty 'excuse me's as she hurried through the crowd. She found everyone's room assignments and snapped a picture.

She made her way back as the others appeared outside.

Rhys and Sylver walked off of the plane, Rhys looked around a bit before joining two older years, second and third years, his older sisters. Sylver just looked around, searching for someone.

"YES! Syl, we're roommates, 2nd floor! And Laurel, you're only a few rooms down in the hallway. Erin's in the floor above us... oh, poor Katie, she's like, 4 floors up from our floor," Piper chattered eagerly. "And our uniforms should be-"

"SILENCE." A voice boomed, doing it's job as everyone's talking was quenched. It was coming from a tall lady standing on the school's well trimmed grounds. She had olive skin and the most beautiful dark purple hair Piper had ever seen. (She shifted her hair to mimic the color as the woman continued.) The woman walked forward, her robes, designed with purple and green peacock feathers, shifted, changing from green to blue to purple. "I am Headmistress Iolanthe. You must be the first years, correct?" Without waiting for and answer, she said, "Well, now I'm sure you know how to find your rooms. The silver tower is yours."

At the last second, just as students were about to rush off, she turned and said,"Oh- and there's a surprise waiting for you in your rooms." She disappeared in a puff of smoke.

Haizean, Piper noted. She turned to the others. "So, shall we now go find our rooms?"

The headmistress appeared rather suddenly, and everyone went silent as she gave her speech. She came off as rather unfriendly and intimidating, offering no more than a cryptic message about something being within our rooms. I glanced over at the others, knowing that my room would be quite far from them, if they had split the tower based on genders.

I was somewhat nervous. I didn't know the person who I was sharing a room with - perhaps I had seen them on the plane, but not talked to them. Either way, I stood in silence, staring up at the glistening tower that loomed over us all. So this will be my home for the next few years... My hands were trembling a little, I wasn't used to being so far away from home without my family. I'll get used to it, with time.
