here is my updated entry :

SINKING



I finally finished this. Uh. I'm so sleepy now.

So. About this picture.
When I'm not ok, I always have that feeling of being alone in cold, dark water. That feeling of not being able to breathe at all. That feeling of going deeper and deeper, far from daylight.
I don't see Miseria as a happy girl. I see her underwater, fighting with her shadow, but sometimes so desesperated that she gives up and lets herself sinking.
I know there's blood in her story, but I decided to draw all in blue. Red would have brought out her demon side, but I decided to focuss more on her bad feelings, which are represented by that dark, heavy midnight blue. I hope I did it well.


(If people wonder why there's "AMNIS" written on my picture, this is my artist name.)

Here's the edited drawing. I added the spots on the nose and colored the lineart.

Finally finished...But geez, this contest drew in some really skilled artists. These entries are amazing. Lucky you, with all this character art!



Eh, I'm not one to give titles, but I called this Fight With Other Self when I was working on it, so I'll call it that.
