His last words clearly were elluding to what had happened earlyer that day, he coudnt do much back then, too may peoples in his way and he had his day job to attend too but he still saw enough of it to know about that fiasco.

Lishian was sitting outside a coffee shop, slowly sipping at his slowly-cooling drink as he stared at the half-scribbled notes on his old notebook. He was well aware there was a team already looking for the killer, but he was a bit of a loner. Mostly he was annoyed it was taking so long to find the killer in the first place- really, this was the FBI. It shouldn't have been this hard!

At any rate, he was hoping to overhear something from the chatter around him. Nothing like a small coffee shop to hear the local news, especially when he didn't have any of his more unorthodox contacts in the area. He was hoping the killer or someone affiliated with whoever it was might show up and let something lose, though he doubted it. At this point though, he was willing to take any small lead. He ddin't exactly have anything to lose....really was it this hard to infiltrate a seriel killer's domain? It really shouldn't have been, especially with his track record.
