It seemed to have been emitted by one of the chairs, a more dull, uncomfortable looking one made of unpolished steel and brass. The back of the chair is an X and at the top is one multifaceted diamond, which is where the light came from.

You remember the guidebook saying that the insides of the leaves have a fluffy, soft material if you were to break them.

Before long, you stop at a wall. Wall might not be the right term for it, it's almost as if the darkness somehow solidified. It looks solid enough, but it's still shifting and moving.

Sunstream preens her feathers idly, but stops when you emerge into a clearing. The grass sways hypnotically, all moving at once. In the distance, you can see something tall stretching into the sky.
