She showed Blue Ashleighs back had two stubby chicken apendages between her shoulder blades. "This one will have to learn how ta fly from that obstinate neaderthal o' mine. So that Aurleon will likely be a wingmate of Ashleigh's anyhow."

Nina overheard the conversation but kept quiet yet looked toward Tatsu. What? Hatchlings left behind? Is that was she had heard? Nina shook her head no that can't be possible. No one would do that she was sure. But she couldn't stop herself from listening.

Tatsu didn't need Ainsleigh to tell him how evasive Pine was being on this matter. "Excussse the ssseeming insssubordinancsss, Pine. Tatsu hissed defiantly. "but that rrreally isssn't an anssswerrr eitherrr. Ifff we arrre exsspected ta trrrussst yerrr werrrdsss, ourrrr leaderrrSssship ssshould underrrssstand the imporrrrtacsss offf ssso sssimple a rrrrequesst, and have an anssswerrr." Tatsu had slowly risen to his feet as he spoke these words and naturally assuming his air tank defensive pose. Though it looked non-aggressive, he was visibly tensed for action as Pine would be able to tell. Tatsu was coming to figure in that Pine was implying that their children may stay, but that leadership was preferring that they be left in the city away from their parents care. A far cry from what had just been said 24 hours ago.

There was a fat pause of about 4 - 5 seconds before Tatsu replied. "What you have said, no." Tatsu state bluntly and calmly again, "but you seem to be dancing around an issue that we, as parents, take more seriously than ye may in your singleness. We have looked to ye as the leadership fer the duration that this forest island has been floating. As such we would expect more directness and less discretion when it comes to care for our offspring." He allowed that a moment, and raised a digit so Pine would know that he had more to say. "I suppose the better question to ask, will this floating island be our method of transfer to the dungeons, thereby requiring our offspring to clear off into the main guild city?"

Ashleigh had no concept of words yet and giggled as Riker's tail swished back and forth to avoid her grasp. Her little hands clapping against the floor to tell him where her grippers were.

A gentle breeze blowing opposite the wind grazed Ainsleigh's cheek. "Uh oh." She said aloud turning back to the guild inn and stiffening her tail in case she needed to hurry off.

"Fair enough." Tatsu remarked, it applied to both statements equally and he left it at that. He saluted Pine the same way he had when he delivered the pork at the start of brekfast, then he turned and made his way out the door to join the others in the hatchery.

Ainsleigh stepped outside temporarily trusting the zolnixi with her babe. As she exited the hatchery she saw Tatsu exiting from the bar way. "What happened?" She asked.

"Untangling webs." He mentioned then came up to her and rubbed muzzles with her. "Have I missed all of the fun?" He asked.

"No." She told him as she led him inside the nursery, where Ashleigh was trying to wrap her arms around Riker to give him a hug.
