I beckon to Jackson to jump in the water.
"It's not cold! Don't worry!"

He dipped a toe in the water, wincing in pain as he realized his feet were bare and were covered in callouses and blisters. "Ow."

Blue opened the box of weapons. "Take your pick!" She said. She pushed the box closer to Josh.

I take a small, but powerful, gun and a medium sized knife with their respective holders. Then I rummage around until I find a good amount of bullets for the gun.

"Jump right in. It feels better that way." I say, a bit amused at his hesitance. I grew up swimming, so I always find it strange when people don't know how or don't like it.

I go under again, swimming fast to the bottom. I see something shiny at the bottom, and grab it. I break surface, and swim over to Jackson. I jump out, and sit next to him, dripping. I inspect the mysterious object. It seems to be a little necklace with a wolf on it. I let out a little gasp. Asher had given this necklace to me a few minutes before he died. I swam the river, and forgot it was in my pocket. I was destroyed when I couldn't find it. I carefully clasp it around my neck. I don't want to lose it again.
