Little Ashleigh understood when his claw didn't come up so she took a chunk out of the intestin in her right hand and munched on it happily. She smiled and chuckled and squealed just having a grand old time of it. Then she looked at Pine and opend her mouth up. She wanted HIM to give her a bite of something.

Tatsu, Ashleigh & Ainsleigh

Tatsu lifted his maw off the pork ribs he was knawing on and saw Blue Jay daydreaming and facing the pig. He didn't want to be rude or greedy so he reached in front of Pine, who wasn't eating and grabbed the hing leg of his meal. "Excuse me for a moment Uncle Pine." He apologized and used his strong arm and razor sharp fore-talons to snap the hind leg clear off the carcass and tear through the various layers of tendon and sinew to clear the whole leg. He inspected his work and placed it on the table between Blue and Tomen to enjoy. "Enjoy some good baconized protein. If ye choose one that a'ready hatched, yer goin' ta need the energy just fer today." He said with a gleam in his eye. Though it looked a little more comical with his naturally angry appearance and a scrap of pork meat dangling from between his lips like a limp tongue Ainsleigh looked up for a moment when she saw Tatsu pull the leg off for the zolnixis to share and noticed the clueless look on Pine's gob and the little open muzzle looking at him as hopeful as a aureleon chick for a parents crop offering. "She wants you to feed her Pine. I think the pancreas is a little hard for her to chew. Put a mouthful in yer bung, chew it up and open up to let her fetch it off your tongue and teeth." Ainsleigh added with all sincerity. She then turned back to Blue to give her that last little fact of harsh reality. "But if you do this Jay, you won't ge to leave them in a nursery tent, excepting of course fer the mission. Yer gonna come home ta yer den, tired an' worn out ta a little ball of energy that's been savin' it all fer sire an' dam ta return and use it all up on ye." Ainsleigh aloud that to soak in before adding. "It's then that ye'll know if yer a mum er not."

Blue Nodded Thanking Tatsu, although she felt bad for staring at their food. she tore a large piece off and sat it next to her strawberries " Yea Although I feel it would be nice to come home to a ball of energy, and with my occupation changing I'm not sure where I will be needed." she said although she seemed rather happy about a change in line of work.


Tomen had barely given any thought as to what Blue could do around the inn, he could help with healing, scouting, almost anything. Blue wasn't as flexible, she had one directive her whole life, it would be hard to change that. after Blue had pulled about half the meat from the leg she pushed it to him. He took it and started digging in, losing track of his thoughts.

Ainsleigh, Ashleigh & Tatsu

Tatsu simply smiled and continued enjoying his meal with mucho gusto, and said nothing more until his share of the pig was consumed. Ashleigh stretched up but couldn't quite get into Pine's mouth. So she grabbed onto his lower jam and ended up pulling him down toward her. She had intended to lift herself up but her weight against his jaw socket made Pine a wiser caregiver in a second. Ashleighs head was completely inside Pine's mouth, if he clamped his jaws close she would be decapitated instantly. But she trusted him with the innocence of youth and nibbled away at the mushed organs in his mouth and even licking his tongue clean. She spent almost a full minute getting at all of it, then she let go, babbling with satisfaction and rubbing her tummy. Ainsleigh softly poked her tummy and was rewarded with a burp, then a heavy round of the giggles. She smiled at her adopted daughter, then looked back to Blue and replied. "Take things day by day Lightning bug, it's all any of us can do anyway. Let's finish up this meal and get you two to the nursery before ye change yer minds again."

Tatsu, Ashleigh & Ainsleigh

Ashleigh was sad to see Pine leave the table. "wwwaaaaAAAHHHH!!! She bellowed momentarily. Ainsleigh was about to turn and shush the child but Tatsu was closer than Ainsleigh so he plucked Ashleigh out of the few remains of the pig and began cleaning her. He was already facing the bar so he would be able to lick Ashleigh clean while the meeting proceeded. Ainsleigh, in turn, looked to the bar since she, Tatsu, Blue Jay and Tomen were already here.

Blue and Tomen had finished and Turned to Pine to Listen to his statement.

Blue flattened her ears concerned that he may have something negative to say about her and Tomen adopting a little one. Though she knew it would be a big responsibility, but this is something she wanted to do, not for her but for Tomen.

Tome was concerned that maybe Pine would be upset with something either him or Blue had done. Blue was strong on the outside and held together, with sparks of smart******remarks, and a hint of Blood lust every now and then. But she hated correction more than anything, she had been so happy since they had returned her didn't want that happy smile to disappear, after all it was his Job to make his empress happy..
