The griffin draws nearer to the mountainside and you see a cave. Inside the cave, you see a flash of dragon scale.

She touched her clockwork eye piece and felt the luporas temperature again, hoping she'd seen wrong

When you pick up the white cat, the black one jumps up and looks at you both with red eyes. It smiled, a smile full of shark teeth. "Well, now that you've taken care of her..." The black one cackled, speaking in human language. "Nobody can stop me now!" He vanished in a puff of smoke. The white one struggled in your grasp and started speaking too. "WHAT WERE YOU THINKING!?" She demanded.

The lupora's temperature was the same as the last time you checked it. Somewhat hot. Your clockwork eye had not been deceiving you; the griffin landed and you see a gigantic majestic earthen dragon within the cave. The dragon hasn't noticed you yet.

The griffin motioned with it's beak towards some crystals growing from the Earthshaker's horns. You realize that this dragon is THE Earthshaker of the legends, the one who fought for the Earth in the War of Worlds, the one who fought back the Windbinder when the Windbinder wanted to take the Earth into the Sky kingdom.

(Not really... There's no definite road you go down. Everything you do can potentially change your future game choices. Also, you can't make camp here, you'd need to be of crafter class in order to build camp. Plus, you've just started and you make camp? XD)

The fruit was strangely bitter and a bit sour. You put some in your pack.
