Kimani's cheeks flushed a little. "You think so?" Being compared to someone so brave felt strange, but he was smiling one of the happiest smiles. "Did he survive the war?"

Wren gave a small grunt and winced as she hit the floor. Her eyes went from angry and fearless to scared and dreadful. She was trembling a little as memories flashed before her, and she turned her head away with her teeth clenched.
"I'll find a way to make you suffer." She said between gritted teeth.

(Oh yeah...I could do eggs since I have 1 space and 3 in my hatchery.... 2 were wild I found technically yesterday I don't know how. Or I could breed but... Maybe a neighbor or something? I could see them doing away and hiring new staff xD)

Kimani's eye glistened for a moment. A part of him, a childish part, thought of the possibility that he could've been the child. But, he also thought of something else. He was happy with the father he had now.

Wren was still shaking slightly out of fear when she stood up. She had just put everyone she held close to her heart in danger, and all because of her short temper. She winced at the injuries on her arms and sighed. She might as well go wrap them up and check on Kimi later. She hoped he was okay, and coping.
