The mare seems to recognize that you do not mean any harm. She no longer looks like she might attack you, but she still eyes you warily and does not approach the berries.

You bring it to the counter where a scruffy old man who you assume is Stan waits for you. "Me homemade treats!" He exclaims with a grin, glad to see someone buying them. Finding yourself smiling too, you hand him the money (8 coins) and head back outside with your treats safely placed in your bag.

Now satisfied that I have everything I need, I head towards the meadow.

You leave the town and head towards the meadow. You wander the meadow for a while, but to your disappointment, you don't find anything overly interesting.

(I'll keep track of it, but it's good to know what's in your inventory anyways)

The trek to the stables was rather uneventful, but you did notice a river within sight of the stables. You take note of that, figuring it would be quite useful. The stables itself are as expected. They appear to be newly built and have pastures large enough to fit the same amount of horses as there are stalls, 10. The hay you ordered has been placed accordingly, as has the bedding and tools. The only thing that stands out to you is the the empty tackroom - well, that and the empty stalls.

(Edit: no need to quote what I posted, though it's fine if you want to)

Just making sure you didn't lose the ping ^^

It's another hour or so until you get to the town. As you open the door to the tack shop, you hear a loud bang followed by a surprised shout. You enter the shop to see an older man struggling to pick up a slew of fallen grooming supplies.

You take a bite of your sandwich, though much like the raspberry, one bite does nothing to satisfy your hunger. In fact, it might have just made you hungrier. You eye your sandwich, then pack up your tent and continue following the footprints. You soon find yourself at the edge of a river a bit too wide to leap across. You absently wonder whether a horse could do it as you see that the hoofprints continue on the other side.

(It's polite and helps both of us, so)

He went into the tackroom and looked for stands to keep the tack so the leather wasn't damaged, if not he knew he'd have to find some. He touched the stalls and checked what they were made of and the quality as well. He then checked the pastures for weeds or ragwort.
