Tunnelkit sighed as Honeykit left. No matter how cute kittens were, they were always dumb. Yes, Tunnelkit was a kit himself, but he was a smart one. Much unalike most of the clan. Maybe one day he'd get to push someone in a river just to show how dumb they are, then jump in and save them. Ehh, no, that'd be unloyal. The last thing Tunnelkit wanted to do was leave the clan.

Ashkit bounced over to Honeykit. "I can watch her! I don't mind!" Ashkit said. Duskkit grumbled. "And Duskkit seems to want to stay in her nest now." Ashkit said.

Root looked at the kits. Hopefully they werent getting colds, or stealing moss that was meant for the elders to make mossballs

Dove Tail shook her head. " You can go out when Scorched Kit opens his eyes. And don't try to rush him, he'll do it in his own time." she purred at Honey kit's excitement. "Now then, you can play with Ash and Dusk for now, in the nursery."

Tunnelkit sneezed, his fur sticking straight up. A shadow flew over Tunnelkit's head, but he paid it no heed. A large feather was on the other side of camp. This reminded Tunnelkit of his bright blue feather, and ran towards it, sneezing the whole time. He snatched up the feather, and the shadow flew over camp once again, bigger almost.

Ghosteyes stepped into camp, watching some tiny kit racing toward a large feather. "How? Does he pay no heed to shadows of hawks circling him? Well, for the first time since... I'm going to get that kit back to the nursery." Ghosteyes rushed toward him and grabbed his scruff. Pulling him away, the hawk dived where he had just been. The kit's eyes widened as the hawk glared at Ghosteyes. "Run to the nursery, small one." she whispered. A small crowd was watching, she noticed. But her attention was on the hawk. It dived at her and she slashed one of it's eyes, leaving it permanently blind. With the blood pouring off it's beak, the hawk flew away.

Tunnelkit's eyes were wide in fear. "Whoa! Are you okay? That was super scary! Please be okay! You should've let me take on that bird myself! Then you'd be fine! It was stupid of me to not pay attention! I should've been the one to fight it!"

Young one, it was not your battle to fight. That hawk would've carried you away. I'm fine, I've had to do this before. Ghosteyes turned to look at the kit. What is your name?

"I'm Tunnelkit!" He said, puffing his chest out proudly.
