Zac was born to Nerissa, a powerful Northern mermaid in late 1990s, somewhere in the seas of the Northern Hemisphere. As his mother's second child, Zac had an older sister named Mimmi, who was also a hatchling. When Nerissa was almost ready to send Zac to a foster family on land, a rebel mermaid named Aurora threatened the Northern Pod, which caused Nerissa to flee to the Southern Hemisphere in the ocean surrounding Mako Island, where she let Mimmi with the Mako Pod, and after realizing Zac would never be able to live in the sea, and that a pod of mermaids would never accept him, Nerissa casted a powerful spell on him that concealed his true merman form and deprived him of all his powers, disguising him as human. Seeing a young couple at the beach, Nerissa was in hope of them raising Zac as their own, so she let her son at the shore, where he was found by Rob and Lauren Blakely, who raised him as their own son and later, tell would never tell him that he was adopted.

BTW just in case you don't know healers are a scam and don't get your potions form the marketplace and don't catch every pet you see (more aren't worth it)

You can also nurture, and when you get 1000 scales, go to the Scale Shop and buy some pet dyes, those sell very well on the broker. Like 40k per or something. Sometimes more. Usually more.

Some random tips:

Breeding.....Well, you can't really make too much profit from it anymore unless you have a themed, stattered pet, or something of that sort. Most things don't sell if they don't have lot of visibles/restricted trait sets,, aren't themed, are dishwasher pets, etc. Also price above 500g cuz the Releasers do release anything for sale that is under that-we're trying to help the economy and make pets actually worth it again

Healers are a huge scam. Do not. Do not. But do missions-theres a guide here and you can also nurture to get scales and buy dyes to sell on the trade broker.

We have a Summer Festival but that's ending rn unfortunately, though Fall Fest is coming soon :) However if you do manage to pick up some fest items sell them on the trade broker, you get quick gold that way and some of the forum games are still open, check Official Games for that.
