MATURE AUDIENCE ONLY 18+
I just need to talk about this.....facebook isn't an option for me at all because the two groups involved are handing death threats out left and right and it is in my neighborhood.
December 7th a 17 year old was killed down the road from me......The killers age 15 and 17. The victim had 9 siblings and a girlfriend with a baby on the way. I didn't know him but saw him around the neighborhood a lot. The victim and the killer had been "friends" for awhile and they had pictures on both of their facebooks, apparently they tried to rob him and decided to kill him.
The funeral was today and the wake was yesterday. Apparently they had an open coffin in which they didn't repair the half of his face that was "blown off" by the gun. There was a fight in the parking lot between those taking the side of the victim verses taking the side of the killer. Everyone grew up around everyone. The victims OWN BROTHER took up for his killer................... Anyway this gets me down to what I am most worried about, the promised to continue the violence. I have been watching this situation apparently the two groups are mad and are threatening one another. The violence is not over and I am scared to leave my house AT ALL. Cops have been patrolling the area 24/7 but isn't making me feel safe at all. Half of the group that is on the killer's side are making petitions to "free" the ******er........really, really after he murdered someone in cold blood.
An hour ago a girl was stabbed to death by her boyfriend at the Mc donalds down the road from me, he then took his own life. How much more violence am I going to see unravel before me? What if it is someone I care for involved, I have friends/family living in the mess and knows many of the people. Why is this kind of violence necessary? I'm tired and down right afraid of this neighborhood. Moving isn't an option and I just wonder how many more people have to die before they realize.
I just needed to rant badly. I am tired of the violence, its useless. Feel free to read or not I don't mind, this was for my personal health. I am loosing sleep and I am depressed about all of it.

Um..Crystal. If you're 10 then I don't think you're allowed to have an account. o_O Or did I just read that sentence wrong?
Cerb: I'm so sorry! That's got to be hard on you. I hope you feel better soon. :) *huggles*

Oh Cerb! Be careful! Try not to go anywhere alone, and don't pick any fights! If people are talking about the murder stay out of the conversation. If possible don't talk to the people defending him about it! I know pointless violence is a hard thing to deal with but the best way to stay out of trouble is keeping your head down.
I just can't wrap my head around some people's way of thinking. What makes anyone think that murder would be okay? Why did this guy think it's okay to just kill someone? I find myself thinking this a lot when tragic things like his happen, why? But yet, I never find any logic behind it, because there is none. Killing someone is never an option, hurting someone is never an option, what can be solved with violence, can be solved better with empathy. Stay safe cerb~
P.S. If there's any local news stories online about it I'd like to read it, but don't put to much effort into it.

Thank you for being worried guys. I've decided to stay off of facebook and ignore it all. I woke up every hour last night with nightmares so it is best for me to try not to worry about it ;_;
