Somehow, you had been picked up by the Ring Leader. The famous Circus, dubbed "Heaven's Ring", was a lot more hellish than it appeared. None of the performers worked there for money, it was all forced labor.
Most of the workers had been picked up as kids, or had been fooled by the Ring Leader to join. Food was a reward, not a necessity.
The ring master was as crazy as they come, and you did NOT want to be a favorite of his. They got the worst of it all.
Some children had been killed in the acts, and they had played it off as a show. This was no children's play area. You either fought to live, or you gave up and starved.

One child had left something before he had been burned alive in the fire show, and it was a plan. A plan to leave, and escape from, this monstrous place. Were you brave enough to dare to attempt to escape?

(The ring leader is a fairly young person, taking over his father's harmless circus. He fools people with his charming and kind appearance)

Kirsi, to the other slaves in the show, is seen as a kind and gentle person who they can run to if necessary. Her very nature seems to be caring and protective. She is motherly and sweet, she looks she like she couldn't harm a fly. Although that is far from the truth, she can throw a grown man over her shoulders if she wanted to. When she is around people she hates, she is sarcastic and argumentative, and has a flaming temper. You can hear her screaming back and forth with the Ring Master on a daily basis, and her words are far from sweet.

Backstory:
Kirsi has always been stunningly beautiful, ever since she was a child. The sad truth is that she actually grew up in this circus... with the Ring Master. Her father and his father were business partners, so they grew up close. Her father died when she was ten, and she had no mother, so she was more or less taken in by the Ring Master's father. The Ring Master had always been a little psychotic and unstable, his emotions were hard to control and ran rampant, but Kirsi always helped calm him. She didn't mind.
Things went south a few years ago, when she was fifteen. The Ring Master's father died from an illness, and his already unstable mind completely shattered without his father around. His evil nature and intentions became clear to Kirsi, and when she tried to leave, he struck her face with her hand mirror. The blow left a deep scar not just on her face, but on her soul. He had always been in love with her, and now his love went too far. So, she became the first slave in the circus. She uses heavy amounts of make up to hide the long scar that rips diagonally from the right side of her forehead, down to her left jaw.
Now, she is just trying to protect the kids and people she can, because she's the only one the Ring Master wouldn't dare kill. Kirsi argues frequently with him, and they often turn into screaming fights.
Kirsi mostly hates him because she could never get rid of the feelings she developed for him, so she hated him because she loves him deep down.
Strengths:
Kirsi isn't afraid to speak up, she is slim and swift, she uses the Ring Master obsession with her as an advantage, and she is very crafty.
Weaknesses/Fears:
Kirsi is terrified of the Ring Master, even if she won't admit or say it directly. While he does abuse everyone else, he messes with her mind for fun and beats her when she goes to far and disobeys him. Another weakness she has is the fact that she lets her temper control her decisions most times.

Well, she could be if needed for drama :p

Altair is quiet, but whenever he does talk, its either sarcastic comments or threats. He acts all big and bad, but deep down he's just a scared child who is terrified of everything that moves. He is so paranoid that he built a lot of walls to protect his fragile mental state. He can go from 0 to 100 very quickly in terms of anger, commonly described as being bipolar. When he is in a scared state, he will just shut down and go blank. It's his defense mechanism.

Backstory:
Altair was sold off by his mother to the circus when he was eight. He actually used to be from a very wealthy family, but his mother sold him off to get her revenge on his father, because she was in a forced marriage. His mother didn't love him either, that's why she sold him off. He suffered a lot from abuse from his mother, and due to her horrible treatment, and the horrible treatment at the circus, he is silent and bitter.
Strengths:
Altair is stealthy, and fairly fast. He is pretty smart sometimes, and he is a bit of an escape artist. He also listens to EVERYTHING.
Weaknesses/Fears:
Altair fears physical contact of any kind, it sends him into complete panic mode and he has horrible flashbacks. It's pretty extreme, only because his mother was so cruel as to be kind to him one moment, and beat the snot out of him another. She was extrmeley bipolar, and it sorta passed onto him.

-Altair is terrified of physical contact. Don't touch him or he'll have a mental freak-out, which may or may not involve a dagger in your throat.
-Altair has knives strapped to various parts of his body at all times, and they are always accessible to him. he has at least twenty hidden on him.

-His face and body are littered with scars, and he constantly wears clothing that hide them. He doesn;t like looking people in the eyes either.

He is childish and plays innocent, but is very far from it. The guy is also a snitch and a liar, he is not your friend. Don't believe his pretty face telling those sweet lies. He's also a suck up to the Ring Master.

Vallen actually fears only one thing, and that is needles and medical equipment.

Vivore was orphaned at twelve, and on the streets for a few months before the Ring Master came across her. He offered her a family, and she couldn't refuse. She quickly found out what a true hell this place was, and she even tried to escape a couple times. She used to be an outspoken girl, who spoke her mind and nothing less. The ringmaster once had her mouth sewn shut for two days straight, and after that, she doesn't speak out against anyone. She agrees and moves on.

She is tiny, and can fit through small spaces, and she is very flexible.

Personality: Eeli is pretty friendly. She does enjoy talking to people. She hates the dark and silence. It can be really easy to make her laugh and cheer her up but it is just as easy, if not easier, to scare her or make her sad. Still, she always tries not to show it, even if she sometimes fails. She is absolutely terrified of pain. Pain of others or herself, doesn't matter, it scares her.

Show Outfit: She wears a long dark, hooded cloak that mostly hides her face and a pair of rather extravagant, colorful wings to give the illusion that she is some celestial being. She also dyes her hair white to fit with this aesthetic though it is rarely seen. The wings are designed so they are fairly moveable but they don't catch on fire too easily in her acts.

Backstory: Eeli had always loved show magic. It fascinated her, so she set out to learn it. When she joined the circus, it was of her own volition. She had run from home at 13, hoping to pursue a life of magic and escape her problems. She started with full trust in the ring leader but has come to absolutely fear him. However, she does not believe she could even try to leave as she is terrified of the possible pain and consequences. She started in the circus with just helping the previous magician with their act, but when they died, she took their place.

She has become a master at illusion and misdirection.
She is fairly light on her feet.

Agliophobia - really inconvenient considering her situation, it makes her easily manipulated.
She can't swim. She loves water but never really learned to swim.

Personality: hes a mix of snape and nio di angelo. He doesnt really trust anyone anymore and he fact he opens up is amazing. He blames himself for any death caused by his workings, whether he meant to or not usually not. Hes actually a really cool, smart, interesting epreon, he just....needs some serious help realizing it's not his fault. He also cusses but hes an engineering dude so....yeah. Hell do anything to keep his brother or anyone he thinks worthy out of harm's way uneven if itlk end badly.

ON occasion, he does horseback riding stunts but afterwards he can't do anything big due to an old leg injury (Ringmaster learned this the hard way and isinc ehe doesn't want attention to himself and his deds he lets it pas)

So....Nicote and his brother lived a great life. THen when Nicote was 13 and Jon and Jerry were 9 and 7, their house burned up. The trio ended up orphaned in an orphanage (so not obvious lol *ahem*) anyways, the ringmaster was passing through town, saw Nicote's handiwork and his brothers' skills, and enlisted them before they knew wwhat was happening.
Strengths: STEM-stuff, horseback riding, being helpfully unhelpfully, loyalty
Weaknesses/Fears: Cooking, trusting, losing the only family he has left since they're all he has at this point

As the Bird Whisperer (actually, that's his older brother's thing but ah well), he wear something like a suit but not quite. I don't knowhow to describe it but think of it as a cross between a ski uniform and a milatry academy uniform. No stparkles, because the pigeons go nuts if they see that.
