Hello! I'm 0possum, a new player of Sylesia. Though there is quite a bit to learn, I'm finding my way around! I haven't met anyone here yet, so if you'd like to say hi or give advice, please do! I love meeting new people and learning new things.

Anyways, I found this game through an ad on Chicken Smoothie. I had gotten the same ad many times, but this time I decided to actually click it haha! My user name is "Mamasoup" on there, so if you play CS too, come say hi and tell me you saw this post! I really do love pets, fantasy, and roleplay haha!

Along with games such as these, I enjoy spending my free time doing quite a bit of stuff. Some of this stuff is making/listening to music, drawing, crafting, sewing, and gaming. First, music is a big part of my life. I'm part of my youth group's worship band (my age range is 15-17), and I play several instruments, such as the uke/guitar, the marimba, the snare drum, and the kajon. Plus, I'm learning the kalimba! I love singing and writing my own music, as well. My favorite musicians/bands are Cavetown, The Oh Hellos, Twenty One Pilots, and Paramore, to name a few. As far as drawing does, I enjoy several mediums, but my favorite is digital art. Lastly, I especially love to sew and create bags and fursuit tails! (Yes, I'm a furry uwu!)

I'd also like to mention my values, as those are important in getting to know any person! First of all, I believe family, friends, empathy, kindness, and spirituality are all important! I value these deeply. I'm also a Christian, and I put Jesus in everything I do :3.

At first I looked through the post and thought, "Oh look a new user. Cool I guess." Then I saw the part about you liking Twenty One Pilots and Cavetown and "OMG you're a decent human being!" (I'm just teasing, please don't get mad I'm not trying to harass). So I'm Mini or Fang, but you can call me whatever you'd like. I'm not a super-veteran player, but I like to pretend I know everything and anything about Sylestia. I love to breed my pets and do projects, as well as collect themes and cute pets. Im a relatively experienced player here and Id love to help with any questions or advice you request! Im very active, so Im sure youll see me around everywhere, whether its in forums or region chat or anywhere else pretty much! Were about the same age :p the majority of people on this site seem to be 15-30 but theres also a lot of older players as well, and youll come across some younger players here too! Ive been playing actively for over a year and a half and I love the social dynamic here! Theres not really any kind of cliques or exclusive groups where people are rude and mean. There are definitely specific friend groups, but I havent seen a single one where people arent welcoming and cheerful.

I met my best friend on this game, Ceruleancrow. They arent as socially active as me, but were pretty close and we even go to conventions in real life together! Just an example of the social dynamic of the game, there isnt a single unfriendly active player.

One of the best things about this game is that the admins love feedback and really really care about the player base and their opinions! Krinadon and Faiona are the best! Krin runs the entire game, doesnt sleep, updates us on whats happening with the game often, asks for opinions, he really does not rest, I swear he eats, breathes, and sleeps sylestia! Faiona mostly helps with running official forum games and choosing theme designs, but they work together really well to make Sylestia the best possible game for all of us!

Themed Pets are 'exclusive' pets that are only available to brew, catch or find during certain festivals. They are very expensive and it's a proud thing to have lots of Themed Pets to breed and show off. Project pets are the completed pair resulting from dyeing, mutating, and breeding certain pets until they you get a breedable pair with the colors and traits you want. Then you can sell their offspring and show them off to others =D I finished a recent project and the project pets are these beautiful creatures:

Themes: pets with a specific color pattern. They will be labeled with a gold star and a purple name of what kind of theme they are. For example, a Blazing Fireworks Ferrikki will have Blazing Fireworks Ferrikki in purple next to a gold star on the pets profile, and every pet of that theme will have the same color scheme.

Projects: people often breed for certain results. These often take multiple generations to get the desired result, and people will sell them for a large amount of gold.
There are two types of projects:
Max stat projects and design projects
Max stat projects: these can be pretty expensive to make, but can sell for a lot. Pets are bred through multiple generations until they have the maximum amount of battle stats, such as strength, intelligence, health, mana, etc. max mana is 200, health is 2000, and each other stat is 100.
There are also superstat projects, but those are complicated and Im just starting to learn about those. I probably wont do one for a while.
Design projects: people will breed sylestis over multiple generations to get a certain color scheme with certain traits, kind of like a themed Sylesti, except you can only get them from the person who did the project and they wont have any themed name on their profile.
