so i have these two bulboris and when i test breed and it shows the outcomes, i click breed and then it ends up differently.

here are the parents, both have a carried fox tail and tiger trait.
dad https://www.sylestia.com/view/pets/?petid=5205963
mom https://www.sylestia.com/view/pets/?petid=5205964

and then after test breeding to get it perfectly, it looks like this.

so i click breed, and then it comes out like this.

Test breed several times

There's always a color swing and traits can vary sometimes, like you could get a novis, a 2 vis, etc. with your pair

So yeah
It happens

Also, might want to gene test to check traits

The test breed in the generator just shows one possibilty

Test breed only shows the possible outcomes, not what will actually happen. It's so you can see what the baby may possibly have. It doesn't actually mean the baby will be the same as the test breed one.

Edit: I took the adolescent male and tested him, but he didn't get any traits from his parents. Either of the other two could have carries, or even a visible mutation, they just need to be tested to see. Or you can just keep trying until one is born with both traits visible, the mutation would show once they become adolescent. The male is set back up for you if you want him back. If not, I'll just release him.

None of the pets are Tested.

On Generated pets, you can still see the Traits because they were Generated.

On Offspring, you cannot see Carried Traits unless the pet is Tested.

Breeding those pets gives them a 25% chance of producing a Visible Trait, a 50% chance of producing a Carried Trait, and a 25% chance of nothing.

So there is a 75% chance that you won't see any results without Testing the pet.
