With every festival adding a plethora of additional avatar items, keeping up with the influx of items is a full-time occupation. I feel this would be eased a bit if we could separate out Avatar Items into their own category so they wouldn't be competing with other miscellany and important stuff in the Inventory.

I'm not talking about the wardrobe. I mean the items themselves, the ones you buy and sell on the trade broker, that you get from bosses. The screenshot you linked appears to merely be a cosmetic reworking of the wardrobe area which has nothing to do with avatar items themselves.
