It would be nice if the hatchery button would turn orange when you have an egg ready to hatch, same as the inventory when you get new items or the forums when you get pinged. It would really help with keeping track of my breeding projects.

Pretty sure the lil icons in your profile on the top right is supposed to notify you of that (if you scroll over the lil eggy picture, it comes up with a popup named "Egglings ready to hatch"), but as far as I know, it doesn't work too well.

I believe this should be working now.

Took a little bit to figure out an efficient way to do that didn't end up bogging down loading times or the Site too much.

So how it works is that every 5 minutes for a logged in player, the notifications counter will run a check and see if there are any Egglings ready to be hatched and update. And then for every pet the player hatches or purchases, it will run again and update the number.
