They make a series of growls, yips, soft grunts, and low whimpers.

They also chirp, make a whining sound that sounds like a whistle, and some can do something similar to a purr

They also have a very memorable yell. There's nothing quite like living in a heavily forested area and waking up abruptly to what sounds like a woman screaming in mortal terror.
