Hi, I'm Fluffn and I'm a furry! Now, a lot of people think that the furry fandom is completely sexual, but that is not true at all! Only 4% of the fandom is sexual! That leaves 96% of us, including me, perfectly safe for work.
So, anyway, I made this guild to show others that we aren't bad or weird. Use this thread to show off your art, fursonas, stories, or experiences in this wonderful fandom! Anyone who isn't a furry can use this thread to ask questions about furries and get answers from furries! My goal is to make furries more accepted and to share how awesome this fandom is to people who aren't furries.
---Rules--- -Because everyone hates them but we definitely need them-
1. Nothing sexual
2. If you don't like furries don't get on here and be like 'Ewww furries' or 'Go die in a hole demon spawn' That is mean and I won't tolerate it
3. Please be present in the guild. Don't sign up and disappear!
4. No adult language. This mainly includes cursing. Use other words like 'darn' or 'flip'

Every week, any art submitted through this thread with #ArtoftheWeek will be put into a draw and one will be chosen to show off here! To make it fair if you are chosen one week you cannot be chosen the next week. This is so other people can get a turn up here!

Oh, good question!
To be exact... an enthusiast for animal characters with human characteristics, in particular, a person who dresses up in costume as such a character or uses one as an avatar online.
I feel like I'm making a difference ^w^

Okay, thanks. I've been wanting to know ever since people in my area started calling each other 'furries', and thought the best place for an accurate answer would be from a furry itself (though I think the term 'furry' seems kinda... mean, I guess?)

People sometimes use it as an insult which is mean if you don't like furries or aren't one.
Some people just find us creepy or gross without giving us a chance to prove ourselves.
I just hope you keep an open mind about new ideas :)
