I'm really interested in doing some sort of medieval-type fantasy roleplay at the moment and I had several ideas.

First of which, I could reboot The Elves of Glass City, as people seemed to have a lot of interest in it. https://www.sylestia.com/forums/?thread=59178&page=1

I also was thinking of some sort of magical academy roleplay, but those are quite overused, so it's definitely lower on my personal list.

Third, perhaps some sort of D&D campaign-like roleplay, but obviously without the whole dice aspect, just in that particular universe.

Then I considered the idea of a mystery style one in a castle, with royalty being killed off and such.

Fifth was the idea of an underground city again, similar to a roleplay I had created a while back based on similar themes.

And last but certainly not least, a dragon island roleplay, with them in the middle of nowhere and just small.

Please cast your votes for 1-6, I have been gone for a very long time and would love to get back into the swing of things, as it were. I would enjoy any of these options, as it would mean I could "hang out" with my favourite people.

You said that number 5 has some ties to your previous roleplayers and based on my experiences, those feelings of nostalgia can often bring out the best in writers!
Of course, being constantly stuck underground could somewhat limit the movement of the characters- But whos to say that city isn't actually colossal?
But considering that i find it easier to control humanoid characters more, if we can only choose one theme then my vote goes for this one.

Number 6... I am Ace, obviously, i love dragons- And small dragons sound like a wonderful concept to explore and it would be a joy to see all the characters people come up with.
Island already provides more freedom than an underground city- But the story might be trickier here, if you want to keep them on that island. I for one can't come up with anything on a spot.
